Guardian Protection provides home security systems that easily compete with some of the top security companies in the industry. Packages include:

  • Standard – Includes standard devices, smart home control, and life safety.
  • Essential – Includes all standard features plus home automation and HD video doorbells.
  • Premium – The most complete home security system with home automation. Includes all features of the other packages plus smart home control.

24/7 Monitoring

In addition to the landline monitoring services found in most home security systems, Guardian Protection also provides backup cellular monitoring services in the event that your electricity goes out. Guardian Protection also employs Smash-and-Crash technology to ensure homes remain protected even when the security systems are tampered with or destroyed.

Every home security system sold by Guardian Protection is custom-designed and professionally installed. In addition to not being available in several states, Guardian Protection is not available to apartment renters.

    Technicians were knowledgable and quick to install our equipment. Love that it is armed through our cellular devices. Our contract was sent to us through email which I can save or print if I need it. Signs and stickers were left that night but the most important thing is the system itself is easy to use and works great. We did sign a 5 year contract but it can be transferred to a new home and the rates are locked in. Technicians helped us decide the best placement of the equipment and explained we could always add more equipment as we see a need.

    Not a happy experience. Over 15 days since system was installed. Have no written contract, no written information on how system works, and no outdoor signs or window stickers.
    Now find keychain system not working. More telephone calls and visit ahead to correct this.
    Really sorry I answered the door when the rep called and I changed over.

    Have had guardian for about 4 months now and I must say for us they have been quick on their feet. I was cooking one day and a pan had a hole in it smoke was everywhere alarm went off immediately. I disarmed the alarm they asked for the password and they called didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer they left a message. I called back by the time I did fire department was outside. They checked everything and was good to go. The sensors are super sensitive. We have set them off by forgetting to unarm the house even opening a door or window. They call through the monitor tell me the location which was set off. Ask do I need police and are you safe. Then ask for my name and password tell me to have a good day and is there anything else they can do. Overall, we are very pleased. Only con is when the alarm goes off trying to find the button to move the red screen to disarm is hassel because the noise is so loud. But, hey at least we know it works.

    BUYER BEWARE!!! I signed up with Guardian after seeing some good reviews and being told I had qualified for a ‘free’ installation and payments of $42.99/mo. The technician came out, was friendly, and installed everything and left.

    We sold the house 6 months later and moved into a home with an existing security system. I called and spoke to a representative named Chris who informed me that I had signed a 5 year agreement. He sent me a copy of the document which they are now doing through docusign. I looked through the document and realized that while I had signed one part of the document to verify that installation was complete, that my initials all over the rest of the document had been forged. I have sent emails, spoken to Chris and another representative named Matt and thought that the contract was being canceled. However, I continue to get calls from the company.

    I called again today and spoke to a representative named William. I was told that in order to cancel service that I needed to contact the police, but that even after I do that, that Guardian are not ‘signature comparers’ and that I am still responsible for a contract that I did not agree to.

    At this point I would never do business with this shady company. It shouldn’t have taken this much time and energy to cancel a contract that was clearly forged by someone in their employ.

    Beware….DO NOT do business with Guardian Protection Services!

    The sales person will tell you one thing and when you have a problem, the company tells you something else. I. Would not recommend anyone to have guardian . They have a beautiful song and dance.

    I have been using guardian for 6 months, didn’t realize until I had a fire at home. I had fire, all alarms installed by construction builder went off but the alarm from guardian didn’t detect the fire, and they didn’t respond to situation. They said “there has to be more smoke” which to me is ultimately they want your house to burn down and then they will respond, then what’s the point of fire alarm ? I didn’t realize I have only 1 smoke detector by them on 2nd floor, no smoke detector in basement and no smoke detector in 1st floor or garage. So if there if fire on either basement or garage wait for it to burn to the smoke to reach to 2 nd floor and then they will respond. They are very smart, saved couple hundred of dollars by not installing enough smoke detectors. Not recommended.

    The sign up process was horrible. They sent contracts via e-sign, which were incorrect, and did not include what was agreed upon. I refused to sign, they kept re-sending, with additional incorrect information. they finally agreed to send me a paper copy, but sent it to the wrong address. Still errors, which I crossed out and signed and sent back. They would not accept with corrections, so they sent another. FINALLY, we received an accurate, acceptable contract. Signed and sent back.
    THEN, installation was over a month out – since they are “so busy”, BUT – my “rep”magically found a spot he was able to grab for me, which was only about 3 weeks out.
    IN THE MEANTIME, while we were correcting contracts and waiting for installation – we had a fire, which destroyed the interior of the house. This being one week before installation – which was to include a smoke detector.
    I let me “rep” (Eric) know, – and all they could do is waive the installation fee and offer an additional smoke detector.
    THEN…I got the bill, which was sent to the wrong address again, and included the installation fee.
    My rep isn’t calling me back – we will see how this goes.
    And in the interim, I’m still waiting for window stickers, which I have requested at least six times. Turns out they were being sent to the wrong address.

    Very poor customer service. I ordered cameras over a year ago and despite six service calls they still do not work. Now Guardian wants me to pay over $3000 to break the contract. They never keep track of previous promises. Don’t use video services with Guardian. Get any promise in writing.

    Last yr we had a salesman come and I told him no, kept talking to my husband, I told my husband no, we have ADT, and salesman was persistent. Explained to the man that we are both 65 and on a fixed income, said that it would be cheaper than ADT, yada, yada,etc. I had to leave for an hour, at that point the man was still trying to talk to my husband outside about installing the guardian system, saying how all our neighbors were signing up. When I came back aft an hour, walked inside and the man was still there talking to my husband. I told him again we didn’t want it, kept saying it would 58 for the first 6 months then drop to 34, aft that. I thought that was a good deal, then I noticed it had 60months on contract, he said no, that aft a year, if I didn’t want it , I could cancel, most likely have to pay 100. at the most if that much. After we signed it, and about 3 days later I called the man to try to cancel because I found out none of my neighbors got it, except for 1 and he lived in another part of our subdivision. The salesman was not in, left a msg for him to return the call and why I was calling, he didn’t call back. Called back 2 times and he never called. Waited till next day and called again, lady answered the phone, told her why I was calling, and
    she said she would have him call me, I asked if there was any other number to contact, said no, I would have to cancel with him since he was the salesman. Again, didn’t call, called again next day, and was told by salesman that nothing I could do, contract was signed for 5 yrs at 60 a month, told him that’s not what he said or represented to me (he was at my house for almost 3 hours). It was more or less-tough tit**** lady, you signed the contract, I could have told you I was going to send Brad Pitt and have it installed it and then didn’t and there is nothing you can do about it. Thought to myself , ok, have to deal with this at least aft 6months the rates will go down -GUESS AGAIN. We are on a fixed income and cannot afford this, and they keep saying ‘sorry-you signed the contract’, beginning to feel the need for more gov intervention – isn’t this something like taking advantage of the elderly – you say one thing, and then gotcha. Right now looking into lawyers who help people over 65. This company is not right, how they live with themselves is beyond me – KARMA is a b***, and I hope it bites them hard in their a***. Excuse my language but this company really gets me upset each month when I have to shell out 60. Then my alarm has gone off three times this yr and they only called me once, no verification of pw or anything, the other two times/no call.

    After four years with Guardian Security, I am HIGHLY disappointed in my service. Over the years I’ve had alarms; there are times that they did NOT call to verify (the policy is to call even if a disarm has occurred).
    When we replaced a door we needed a new sensor. That would have cost over $175 including the technician; they told me that there was nothing they could do on pricing, upgrading, etc.
    We were outside our contract period, so we called to cancel after finding another company (Protect America – so far very happy with them), and all of a sudden they could do all sorts of things. Too little, too late, guys.. Worse still they FLAT OUT LIED. They told my husband that they were looking at our contract and it said five years; I spent over an hour, but finally found our original carbon copy of the entire contract. Their sales rep listed his name, crossed out the 60 month area, and wrote “1 year agreement” in a different section. If their rep screwed up (and he had called his manager while in our house), then that screw up is on them. He represented their company, and they have to honor that.. After over 45 minutes on the phone, they said they would let us out but that they COULD have forced us to keep it. Personally, I was willing to have them try and sue us just to show them the contract in court. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. All they had to do was be honest and if they didn’t like what their rep had done, deal with that later with him – that isn’t our problem. I’m still absolutely furious with the way we were treated and lied to.*** Please be aware that whatever their rep tells you, they expect their standard 5 year agreement to apply.*** They have not only unethical but contractually illegal practices, and I would pay a hobo in beer to stand on my lawn and yell at intruders before I would ever sign with them again.

    Guardian Protection Service fail to correct faulty equipment during the last year of my contract . so I paid the last year without being monitored, then after my contract expired they had the nerve to automatically
    renew me even after my requesting cancellation. They delayed sending me their official cancellation letter long enough to try an charge me for another month. Beware of their hidden clauses to automatic renew your contract

    I have been promised installation 3 times and still have never been called to let me know they were not coming. I have called and been promised that my system will be installed the next day but no show, no call. I can’t keep missing work. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

    Terrible company.

    The sales lady didn’t ever mention contract was for 5 years. Upon request to cancel they are requiring full payment amount so this website is wrong when it says 20% fee.

    She also stated ~1$ per day and that turned into almost 60$.

    I have had a guardian system now for a few years and couldn’t be more pleased. The company presents a fair rate that covers and offers everything, I did not get nickel and dimed to find out later on that I wasn’t covered. My alarm has gone off a few times and I have always received a quick response. Not to mention that with it being a privately owned company I felt that company actually worked with me and showed exemplarary customer service.
