Security System Overview
For new customers the best package that SSS offers is their basic cellular system. This is a 100% wireless system that uses the Honeywell Lynx 5100 control panel and comes with 24/hr monitoring. For installation and activation they request $199 upfront and $44.99/month for 36 months. After this time period customers have the option to go month-to-month. Each new system comes with the following:
- 1 Lynx 5100 control panel
- 3 door/window sensors
- 1 motion sensor
- 1 key fob
- 24/hr monitoring
- Sign & Stickers
Since 1972, SSS has operated its own UL approved alarm-monitoring center in Union, New Jersey, assuring that customers receive immediate and appropriate response to their security situations, 24/7/365. Currently, Supreme is the only security company in NJ to appear on the SDM 100 list of largest security dealers in the country, ranking among the top 50. Another positive that customers enjoy is the lifetime warranty on all equipment. Supreme offers 24/hr maintenance on all equipment for the entire duration they monitor you. Also, it is important to note that if you need to cancel for any reason Supreme only requires 80% of the remaining balance, a policy which is unique in the industry and is good for those who might move during the time of the contract.
There is very little to complain about with Supreme Security. They have an A+ BBB rating and have zero unresolved complaints. One issue that might be bothersome to some customers is that they have a higher monthly rate than most. Typically rates average between $30-$40 for contracts three years and more. At about $45/month customers are paying a bit more than with some other companies, which probably due to the low initial costs of about $200.
