About Alliance Security

Alliance Security offers many different options so you can have the security system that works best for you and your situation. They offer seven different packages. With any package you purchase, there is a firefighter smoke monitoring device that comes with it. There is a "special alert" sensor in every package (with no increase in your monitoring rate). You will have a licensed technician come to install your alarm system at a specific time that meets your needs. They will arrive within just one hour of your scheduled installation window (if they are just one minute late, you will receive a free month of monitoring).

Alliance Security works to provide different services for various family situations. They have tailored security packages for the following:

Suburban families - optional paid upgraded

Senior citizens - two-way communication in emergency situation

Single parents - immediate alerts and free mobile app

Was conned into this. Told that my home insurance would cover the cost. Did not receive a signed contract. Cannot close account because of poor customer service and being constantly lied that it will be then receiving more and more bills. This has hurt my credit and my life. Worst company ever.

Extremely deceptive sales practices, door to door sales feels like you're being pressure by a car salesman, but in your own home where you're stuck rather than a dealership you can walk away from. The salesman will ask to be let into your home to see the entry and exit points, it's a sales tactic. He/she will offer you 4 months deferment, or 1 month free, or anything they can to get you to sign papers on docusign and get tied up in a lengthy contract. He/she will offer you a "free equipment package" of which they supposedly only have 2 of to give away, if you agree to pay $54 a month for 5 years. They will claim the equipment is a $3,000 value, in reality it's a few hundred bucks, and you could find better equipment that works with an app on your phone at home depot or Lowe's for the same price or cheaper with no monthly fee. Shady business practices, pushy salesman working on commission, will say anything to get you to sign up.

We began having issues with this crappy company months ago when we started getting false fire alarms resulting in the police and fire department showing up to our home. It took two months to get through to schedule, then they could only schedule it 3 weeks out! I needed to change billing accounts, yet another 2 months to get through to them, and they told me the change would take another 2 months!! What a joke!! Now, another piece of equipment went out, a door sensor, and we can't even use the stupid system! And guess what, can't get through to the stupid customer service! I am beyond done. Of course no help to cancel.

I had problems with this company from the start - from poor equipment performance to rude, disrespectful and unprofessional customer service agents to technicians that outright lie and forge signatures. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They also have very long difficult cancellation procedure. It has been a month since I requested my account to be canceled and they still have not canceled my account. I had to close my account to stop them from continuing to make fraudulent withdrawals.

Camera installed upside down, technician left anyway. Very difficult to get a technician to come back out to correct the installation problem. Customer service seems as though the camera pictures showing upside down and the technician not making an effort to correct the problem is no big issue, so what !

So many issues! 1. Door to door salesman tricked my elderly mother into signing up and claimed it was LifeAlert. Also quoted her a monthly monitoring fee but wrote the contract at a higher rate than he verbally quoted. 2. The system malfunctioned within the first week! The technician claimed it was due to bad battery - in their “new” system that they installed. Worked for a few more days after replacing battery and then malfunctioned again late at night. The technician instructed my 83 year old mother to use a step stool so she could remove a screw on top of the unit so she could get the alarm to stop. 3. With her unit not being monitored due to it not working properly, they then contact her to tell her she needs to sign a new contract that includes an additional $10/month warranty fee. I told them no way was she paying additional for a unit that was not working properly from the start. 4. I have now contacted them 8 times- each call they apologize and agree to send out a technician to get the system working free of charge to my mother! They never show up and never call to reschedule. So of the nearly 3 months she has had the system, it has only been monitored for approximately 18 days. 5. Though she signed the work order to have them charge her a set monthly fee, they are now adding an additional $10/month which they are taking from her account. They continue to hassle her to sign a new contract for the additional $10 per month, but she has not signed it. 6. I have filed a police report since door to door selling is not allowed in my city. I plan to see an attorney if no resolution soon! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE EXTREMELY SHEISTY!

Received 2 emergency alerts( beeping so loud, had to send kids upstairs). Tried calling for 3 times customer service. Nothing!!! No one picked up the phone!!! Then had to disconnect power from the wall still beeping. Then took off back panel from main control unit ( it was frozen. Screen won’t work before I start messing with power) disconnected battery. It stopped beeping ? WoW!!! Called customer service again they picked up wow I’m dead already!!! Had a nice talk and hooked up everything back. Panel start working. Very disappointed ☹️ What am I paying for???

We had this co.install 2 mo.ago.since that time the first bill was almost double of what it is supposed to be.Two cameras have stopped working 3 wks after installing.We have called 4 times.Sent 3 emails.Sent 3 text messages.This is week 6 since cameras stopped NO ONE HAS CONTACTED US!!! WE called the salesman 3 times he has been sent 4 text messages.Called main office Nothing.Waiting to see what this next mo.bill is going to be.They have not cleared up first mo.At our wits end with this bunch.STAY AWAY.!!

The app is easy to work if it actually connected to my camera, not much to say easy to use, the company alliance security is the worst I’ve ever had I mean awful I’ve been going back and forth with them about my camera not working, it’s been a year now since it hasn’t worked and they still charge me 59 every month, they also sent me to collections which I didn’t owe them anything so they said oh we are sorry and said you don’t owe us since it’s directly taken out of your bank account, yet it’s still in my credit report, they don’t answer they don’t fix problems and they don’t care about your safety all they want is money money money even if they are not completing their end of the contract it’s times to take a lost I will pay for ending my contract even if I never actually received the full service they promised. Trust me don’t give them your service they won’t fix anything.

ALLIANCE SECURITY customer service dept sucks they have very rude and unprofessional customer service reps working for them. I Sold my house and they will not let me out of my contract. i have explained to them several times that i will be moving into an apartment and i cannot take the 3 cameras onto someone else property. i am willing to continue to pay for the system just without the cameras but they will not go down on the price. i am very frustrated at this point. i have been waiting on a supv to get back to me to no avail no one has called me back after 3 attempts of calling and explaining my situation. i even told them i will be willing to take the system with me but they refuse to even hear me out. i wish i never dealt with this company.

I was sold the Alliance security system as a package which included an extremely low Direct TV cost, and an extremely low Suddenlink internet cost. The Alliance security system was installed first 7/2/19 at a cost of $70 per month for three years. After that most everything stopped. I did not have my internet cost reduced to $20 per month as promised and I did not have the Direct TV installed at a cost of $35 per month plus the agreed extra charge of $7 per month for the wireless receiver. I was also promised $400 in Good Sam credit ( I received $200 from AT&T) and a $100 Visa card (not received). I wish I had demanded that the Direct TV and internet be installed first. The package only made sense if all the charges were as promised. Alliance denied culpability because they say the other services have nothing to do with them but they continue to let this person do business with them.

For almost ONE YEAR, I've been with Alliance Security System. For almost ONE YEAR I have been disputing with them because of what they are charging me. Although my contract is one price, they will sneak to charge you what "THEY" want. Please BEWARE, check those monthly charges!

This is, to the best experience I have had, the most shoddy company. I have no paperwork from them to show me the contract, but found they deducted three payments for one month, did not ever pay the amount they agreed to pay to the previous security company, and I CANNOT reach the corporate office to talk with anyone about the problems. I got a RING doorbell/camera and had to sign a contract to get it to work, plus pay insurance on it to continue to work properly. I am most unhappy with myself for ever signing up with them.

What a joke! This company doesn’t return phone calls. You can sit on the phone for what feels like hours only to be transferred to a voicemail...and they don’t call back! You finally get to talk to a real person after trying for weeks only to be put on hold numerous times. They get back on the phone and tell you “someone will be calling you back to speak about the issue” Me-what issue??? Them:your cancellation Okay...so can you at least tell me how much it cost? 80% of the remaining months in the contract!!!!!! What kind of stuff?!?! I’ll never recommend this POS company to anyone, even if they were the last security company around.

I signed up for the service May 14, 2019 and cancel the next day May 15, 2019. You need three different apps to work the system. Door Bell, Camera and security. Which was a headache, I lost connect the same day it was set up. The installer was great. Trying to get a refund is like getting super bowl tickets.I called in to asked about my refund and was informed that only John could process a refund. Conveniently John wasn't in; left a message still haven't heard. I will have to get my bank involved.

Alliance's Customer Service has told me that a Manager will contact me several of times and I have not had a call back. An alarm system was installed on 5/15 without the ring doorbell which is yet to come. The service person that installed it and said the the ring system should be on his shipment that day and I should be receiving a call to have it installed. No ring doorbell, no call. As I am frustrated because I can't get a manager to call me back and I think that your company is possible a scam. Therefore since we do not have the whole package of what was promised, we will be cancelling in a couple of days if I have not received a call back from a Manager. Also, who is monitoring my home if you close at 8:00 pm?, huh?

This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have never been sent an actual contract. They say I was too late to cancel and I tried cancelling with the salesman. since he did not reply until after my 3 day period, they want me to pay $1800 to cancel my contract. I don't even have all the equipment I signed up for. Plus, they never told me I had to pay for the Ring subscription. I paid for it and they said they will reimburse me and I have not seen a penny. I have been emailing and calling them for months and they respond with little to no information and it takes forever before they do respond. I just want to cancel my service for good and move on, but they won't let me unless I pay the $1800. I should have free service for 9 months since I have not been given what I am paying for. This place is such a SCAM!!!!! I will be looking in to suing this garbage company! FRAUD!!!!!

This company is terrible and so are the third party salesmen they use. Lewis claimed to have Acquired the company that we originally purchased our ADT system through and assured us we were no longer under contract. 10 days later when I called to cancel with ADT I found out that we were still under contract. I called Alliance security to cancel and they told me that I had to do it through Lewis which worked for a third party. Lewis has barely returned any of my calls dragging this this process out for weeks and now he is telling us that we have to pay out our three-year contract in order to cancel because of the time that has lapsed. We signed in 4/10/19 and contacted them on 4/20/19

This security system is by far the worst system I have ever used/ the guy told us during purchase that we were able to cancel at any time and now the company says otherwise even though cancelling was an option when I called. Such a joke. The app doesn’t work 90% of the time and we’ve had multiple occasions where the alarm just went off because we couldn’t turn it off using our phones and had to come in. I will make sure to share my disappointment with anyone who asks. Alliance Security System is the biggest joke!!!

Horrible. We have had our system for a month. It started going iff saying the back garage door was breached. It wasn’t. Then it would shut off and do it again in 10 min or so . This went on for over sn hour. I tried calling customer serv was forwarded to a vm twice. Never recd a call back and strangely with it going on snd off by itself for that length of time the police were never called. That tells me no one is monitoring our system

Buyer Beware!! This system was for my Mother's house an 81 year old woman. We had our security system installed last night and we're cancelling it today. There are a number of reasons: 1. The person who came to install our system was the most unprofessional installer I've seen from any type of service company. He looked like he'd just rolled out of bed, grabbed whatever shirt he could find and came to our house. He got here at 6:00 and didn't leave until about 8:30. He proceeded to tell us how he had be shot and stabbed and that's why he did this job. He did however explain how the keypad system worked. We were VERY uncomfortable. When the company called for a QA call the next day I let them know. 2. The installation was poor. I could have bought the parts on Amazon and done it myself. They put in a Ring Doorbell, the installer didn't even get it straight. It also looks terrible on the door. It hangs off about an inch and a half and could easily be pulled off. They supposedly put glass breakage detectors on but we don't know what windows they are on. We haven't found them yet. 3. We did not get a written contract. We signed something but the installer or the company didn't explain it or leave us a copy. They setup the direct draw from the bank each month and we're not sure the amount. 4. The installer gave us the passwords, and of course he has all of them. He never showed us how to change them. 5. When I called the company to cancel I was sent to an anonymous voicemail system with no explanation or promise to return my call. I see from other reviews that this is a problem. We have stopped payment on the account to make sure we don't get our account drained. All in all I would NEVER use this company for anything. The people who have given positive reviews I find very suspect. This was a HUGE mistake. Go with Protect America, we did.

Terrible service. One of my panels stopped working. It just says that a code is required to pair both panels together. I have called Alliance Security and they didn't want to give me the code, instead, they want to charge me $250 for a new panel! Also, I am moving in one month, so I have told them that I will not renew my contract with them because I'm not satisfied with there service. They told me if I'm not renewing my contract with them it will cost me $400 because my contract with them is not done yet. I have never seen a company not able to give good customer service satisfaction! I should have gone with ADT like I first thought. Stay away from Alliance Security

Stay away from this company. I realized after only one day that I had made a mistake. So the first business day I called and cancelled the service. In my state you have a three day period to cancel a contract. And I stopped payments they could have charged. That was 30.00 but to get rid of this service I didn’t regret the fee. PLEASE do not get this service from Alliance Security.

Be very aware when you apply for this service that Alliance Security only installs your service they are not responsible for your monitoring or actual account. I just received a letter in the mail from Brinks home security billing me for service i didnt even know I had. On top of all of that its super easy to apply and get the service but to cancell no one can help and they just have you running around to cancell. Today I called Alliance they forwarded me to Brinks and Brinks is forwarding me to Laywer T to cancell my service. This is the biggest joke ever stick to comcast security more expensive but very professional!

Although we're on National and State Do Not Call list this company robocalls 2 to 4 times a week. I called to find out who was making the illegal robocalls and was put on with the most high pressure salesperson I've ever encountered. I decided I'd let them waste a trip out here as punishment for their illegal advertising. Big mistake. They have shown up at the house 3 times unannounced. I'll be greeting them with a shotgun on their next visit; that's my home security. Read their review's and avoid this company like the plague.

I had a salesman name Peter T., phoned me talking about the security system & being polite calling me by name & was getting other information from me which I had NO ideal he was going to do a credit check on me. Which I NEVER authorized him to do so. I'm very very ? angry with Peter T., the salesman; this wasn't fair to me. So, I'm wanting others to PLEASE be aware of this kind of stuff when people s are talking to you on the phone.

This is the worst company ever. Do not purchase from them. The sales dept but on a good talk game. Customer service is poor. They don't have a technician in my area so they contacted another company. I had a service called appt for this morning. However, I had to call Alliance back to check on the location of technician. The technician had emerency but I was not notified. This is the 2nd time this happened to me. They don't stand by their products.

Unable to get a copy of my contract. The one originally emailed, after multiple unanswered requests was unsatisfactory and I would not e-sign. Requested amended contract and have now waited almost a month without receiving it. There is nothing in contract about equipment warranty

My mother bought this service and moved from her condo 10 months later. The company continues to take money directly from her account and they claim she has a contract that cannot be broken. This is a contract she never saw prior to installation, and since asking to cancel the service, they sent her a document that is not even signed. I’m calling AARP tomorrow on these scammers. As a side note, while she had the service, she made repeated calls and was given the run around every time.

January 7th 2019 Received a call soliciting I listen to sell pitch and was all for it was going to have it installed today $43.99 a month. In less than 10 minutes they call me back and told me I need it $99 up front told me my credit was not good enough We bought a house in June bought a brand new Dodge Ram in October but my credit is that good enough to cover $44 a month The credit check was never mentioned in the original phone call they just ran it Way I look at it they could keep their system I'll have another one installed by the end of the week
