The company uses the ADT security system. They provide amazing deals that will favor the client economically while still being reliable and secure. They provide free evaluations by offering their customer representative to visit your home and appraise your security needs. This is usually the first step the company takes towards formulating a program specific to your security needs. Their authorized dealers offer excellent product range and sales representation, they provide only truthful information to the clients. They pride themselves on good customer service response, alarm system enhancements and dependable technical service. The fact that it is certified by the TRUSTe is a boost towards increasing customer's confidence.

Cons

The BBB accreditation discovered that there are certain areas that customers raised complaints. This touched on the aspect of the product, warranty and sales issues with the sales topping with a complaint list of with a total of thirteen complaints out of the whole sixteen. It seems like the company has a problem with the advertising team who are forceful rather than persuasive. Though this is on a very minute scale, dealing with it would salvage the situation before it gets out of hand. There have also been complaints concerning the pricing with customer claiming that it is a little bit on the higher end when compared to other companies in the sector. The company should look at this and revise especially if they are to attract new customers. Offering discounts on their equipment and services for new customers would be a great way to start.

I am giving this company a zero because we were sold a Ring system and never was it explained that their would be a separate gee to be able to review the recordings of any activity that one needs to see in order for the system to be affective means of security. I called e mailed there is zero accountability. They just agree do nothing to compensate you for their lack of professionalism. There are way too many good companies to but ADT from this is not one and wish I was not stuck in a contract.

Horrible!!! This is the worst company to do business with. If you can find a local company or even Simply Safe, you are WAY better off. DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!! CHECK THE BBB WEBSITE TO FIND OUT HOW BAD THEIR RATING IS!!!

Blue Light Security Systems is a California based dealer of ADT services in the Phoenix AZ area. I have been with ADT for four years and this year they dropped the prior systems provider for my area and contracted with Blue Light. A few days after the transfer Blue Light sends me an e-mail telling me ADT has dropped service to my home. I call ADT and they tell me my service is still active. ADT tries to contact Blue Light and Blue Light does not reply. Blue Light tells me that ADT won't tell them why my contract was canceled. So ADT tell me to contact Blue Light to find out what is going on. No one seems either able or interested in working we me and are passing the whole confusing mess onto my plate. In short, ADT can't seem to contact their service provider and the service provider, Blue Light, seems unable to contact ADT. This whole things smells like a huge scam. I would recommend that if your interested in a home security system, look on Amazon and purchase your own.

They promised me a camera that I still have yet to receive. They also don’t know where my money disappeared to. They attempted to collect payment twice for the same month after verifying that they already received the payment and not to worry about it,they would not take payment again. It has been two months of me not being able to have security as promised without a headache with equipment and customer service,these people are awful

It is a very bad company, I had a bad experience with them, they installed the security system then the system was down two weeks after installation and when they came they said that the roaches damaged the system and I have to pay $700 to replace the panel. I called the ADT itself and they sent a technician and he said the panel was damaged and I asked him for its price and he said $100 but he cannot replace it because of the first 90 days under warranty of this authorized dealer. I have decided to trash their system and install a new one with another dealer because I cannot pay $44 for monitoring to ADT while the system is down.

Upon the purchase of our new home, the builder recommended this company. We went on that recommendation and were surprised to learn they offered a gift card to new subscribers. BUT they have yet to deliver (4 months since wesubscribed) and have repeatedly lied about shipping it. The most current lie was that the card was issued and shipped via Priority Mail, yet the tracking number still shows "pre-shipment" for the last 10 days. More importantly however, our alarm was triggered internally. I disabled it, or at least I thought I did until 37 minutes later I noticed the panel was red. It was still actively triggered yet somehow I had not received a phone call, not a knock at the door from police, NOTHING! So, crappy customer service plus horrible response amount to a very unhappy customer seeking to get out if the contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Misrepresentations galore in installation and in sales. I was skeptical and was promised that I would be able to cancel with a minimal penalty. WRONG! Never trust a sleezy salesperson. Guess I learned my lesson!

Blue Light is absolutely horrible. I was promised a $100 Visa Gift Card for my service installed in early June. Its now September and I have yet to receive the gift card. Every time I call the "manager" Rafaela makes up a story about the owner being out of the office and needs to confirm the amount...next she lied and said it was in the mail and provided a tracking number that has no items being shipped. I have talked to several individuals in the company and they have promised me that the gift card was mailed or would be! If anyone is reading PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Go directly through ADT. This company is a SCAM.

this company uses deceptive sales practices. They will claim to be your current company and tell you they are upgrading your equipment. Then will switch you. You will be responsible to your old company, Blue light will promise rebates and to pay off old company, they wont. You will be given tracking numbers, but you will not receive what is promised. As far as contacting the company, you will be put on hold indefinitely and there will never be a supervisor available. Avoid this company at all cost, nothing more then a scam.

Terrible costumer service by rep and manager . I was promised a referral gift card pf $200 for second referral since March/April and nothing to date. They either avoid your phone calls, or promise it will be fixed and put in the mail. I have contacted them more than I can count and it is a wasted effort. I would not recommend their service to anyone else due to the poor customer service. .I really hope the company takes this input seriously and make changes.

La verdad no me gustó nada el servicio hubiera hecho directamente con la compañía ellos no han traído a las puras mentiras se metieron casi la fuerza a mi casa me hicieron llegar un contacto me dijeron que me iban a poner tres cámaras una enfrente o atrás y otra dentro de mi casa lo cual ya tengo dos semanas con el servicio y no han instalado todavía les llamó y me dicen deja hablar con mi supervisor y me cuelga las llamadas ella nada por 4 5 veces seguidas y siempre me pasa lo mismo esto es muy traumante le llamó a la gente que vino a mi casa y me dice te regresó la llamada en 3 minutos la cual nunca me llama yo le vuelvo a marcar y ya no me contesta No sé qué clase de compañía o agentes tiene Yo quiero cancelar mi contrato y cuando les llamó y les digo simplemente me cuelgan Y la verdad ya no sé qué hacer Estoy muy decepcionada con este servicio la verdad que están poniendo con muy bajo en hombre de ADT yo creí que era una compañía muy buena de alarma no sé quién es el responsable en esto pero quiero cancelar

Horrible costumer service by Joshua Manno . I was promised a referral gift card and it has been 5 months and I have not seen it yet. Joshua Manno told me over and over that it will be in the mail week after week and it never came. Now that I am disappointed with his costumer service he will not return my phone calls or emails. I do not recommend their service and I will make sure that none of my clients use their service as long as Josh still works there.

They are NOT ADT, but rather a secondary company. They will NEVER allow you to prematurely cancel the contract if they were wrong. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney general of Texas. Avoid at all costs. Josh the manager told me he would not cancel because he had "$1100 in my house and was going to get it back somehow."

Where to start.. I only give a 1 rating because this company uses ADT systems which is a trusted piece of technology. Otherwise, I would give a zero with no hesitation. This company is only an install company. They don't monitor your account from what I was told by one of their sales reps. That means they could give two sh*ts about you, all they want is your money. I have attempted to cancel and I cannot locate my contract which was done through docusign online. I can not login anywhere to see my account, whether through ADT's website or through Bluelight's. I am beyond done dealing with companies these days. Zero customer service once you are a customer. This company is shady to say the least. I would HIGHLY recommended that you steer clear of Bluelight Security!

I am not happy with the sales technique that was used when I was approached for transitioning my service from my current provider to ADT. Blue Light Alarm obviously serves as the middle man for ADT. They solicit service, perform the installation and handle the "rebates" that are offered during the sales call for ADT. I was approached in several marketing calls soliciting my patronage of security monitoring service, although I was currently in a contract with Monitronics Security. Blue Light stated they'd be willing to pay out my remaining contract if I was willing to come aboard. I did so. the installation was successful as I completed the requested paperwork in November. I was then contacted a month later stating they did not have any of my paperwork and requested payment. I provided copies to settle that issue. Then, I started inquiring about the pay-out of my contract. I was essentially paying for service to Blue Light, as well as Monitronics. I was advised that all I had to do was send in a cancellation letter to Monitronics and fax the letter to Blue Light. The rest would be handled by Blue Light. It is now the last week in March and I am exhausted in this process. I have made countless calls and only given the run-arounds. I have sent several emails only to learn this manager handles this, or give them time to review this, or this is not handled by my department and shifted to someone else. I want the marketing scheme to be validated since it appears to be false advertising. I want to end my security contract with both ADT and/or Blue Light. I have had a very poor experience and wish to end this terribly dishonorable relationship.
