We have been nothing but pleased with Custom. They have been easy to work with, their product line is first rate, the wireless keypad is great, they have a great response time for alarms ( learned that the hard way), the monthly service charge is more than reasonable. Great company to do business with.

Wesley, Brandon and Dean just installed my wonderful security systems: windows, doors, outside cameras and inside motion detector. What a great team !! They were very professional and took the time to fully explain everything to me, being very patient with me an older client. They tested everything, they cleaned up after themselves, and explained things to me again. I highly recommend this team to set up your security system. Thank you guys!!!!!!! My personal experience has been nothing short of exceptional. We have them at my place of employment as well as at my house for approximately 14 years. Tommy Hodges, Sales, has always taken good care of us with quality equipment that meets our needs. Dwayne Wilkinson and his tech crew are always there to fix any technical issue that arises in our building or at my home, and completed in a timely manner. The low monthly monitoring fee is second to none in the Baton Rouge area. Also, if your alarm ever goes off, you are sure to get a quick call to veryify if there is trouble or just a false alarm. If you are looking for a security company to protect your home or business, I highly recommend Custom Security to get the job done!

I was thinking of switching from a national home security system to a local one. I guess their advertising is good, because of thought of CSS first. I called and made an appointment for someone to visit and evaluate our equipment, which we purchased when we signed on with ADT. The rep came our an hour early without calling first. He said a quick look at our keypads would indicate how much it would cost to switch to CSS. On the phone, the rep had said that since we owned our own equipment, the cost of the switch shouldn't be so bad. So...after messing around with our keyboard, mostly for show I think, he announces that the cost of the switch will be $850. I would have liked to push him out the door, but I didn't want to get sued if he fell.

We have been with them for probably 20 years and up until recently I would have given them 4 to 5 stars. In the old days they actually cared about their customers but apparently they changed philosophy - according to the technician I talked to Saturday night (the senior tech on that night) - he has worked for the company for 10+ years and knows the system and I do not understand what I am talking about. Hum - does he understand customer might be right and better yet that we are now going elsewhere where they have trained technicians.. . We are also on a service that they replace the alarm batteries as needed. We got a low battery warning over a week ago (on the weekend) and told them I would take care of it during business hours. That week I called and asked them to come out and replace the battery (remember we are on a prepaid service to do that) but the best they could do was over a week out - even with a low battery warning. Last weekend it started beeping - (as they do for low battery). I called and asked them to turn it off. They eliminated it from the system but it kept beeping. I told them that and the first tech insisted it was not their alarm that was beeping. You need to understand - the alarm is around 20 feet up and so we could not reach it. They insisted it was another older alarm that came with the house that is near by. I asked them what are the odds of two alarms going out within a couple of days. They got the attitude - how would they know. We pointed out that this happened before and it was there alarm - but the tech said he knows more then we do. I asked if he could call someone and he insisted he did and the senior tech gave us the 10 years with the company and he knows - wow great attitude. (Note this is in a sleeping area) You might think they would reschedule to come out on Monday and verify - but nope - even with the prepaid service we still had to wait until Wednesday. Well we used a pole and got it down (did not break it) and guess what - beeping stopped. Guess tech needs to retire because customer knows more. Sad they Customer Security is not training their technicians. No apology- just the we do not need you attitude from the Corporate people - so I will pass the word around - lots of other services out there - that hire quality.

I am so impressed with Custom Security. My router had to be changed out and a camera had to be changed out. The technician, Brent and Christian were amazing. They even had to call the supervisor over to my home to help resolve my issue. They were all very professional , had to go to the office twice to get something I needed and never once did they Crack or show any sign of frustration. They were here for 4 1/2 hours and didn't leave until all of my issues were resolved. Thank you very much!

this company is not truthful, I paid $300.00 for them to reinstall the system and was told they would come back an install what they did not finish after we complete our renovation. When the installer came I was charged $90.00 1 motion detector, that should have been free. I did not get a invoice for the work done. This give me cause to think this money was pocketed. it been 3 weeks and still can't get a call are the ability to customer service. I want my $90.00 back.

I know that when I leave my home it is secure with every detail needed for my safety....and when I come back to myhome I can be assured that my safety has not been breached....I never have had a problem with the monitoring staff. I highly recommend custom for your home and personal safety !!!! No matter where you live in B.R. Give them a call - you wont be sorry! They are the best! That's why all the reviews on this page are great, because custom is great ! My entire family has custom and even down to my married neices and nephew. I have been monitored with them for years, at my home and business. I recently had to let an employee go at 5:00PM on a Friday due to theft and I HAD to remove their code from the system. I could not remember her code and the Service Manager actually came out and fixed me right up!! I did NOT expect them to be able to do this for me last minute but I was soooo glad they did. The girls that answer the phone when I set my alarm off are so sweet too!! They call FAST if I don't hurry and call though! I see the review below me though and....their technicians work past 5:30PM!! I had one add some window contacts not long ago after work around 5:20PM and it took him a good 45 minutes. If he said that, I would have called his boss!! No one can talk to a customer like that. They wouldn't be in business. I love Custom. I send everyone to them. They're a big enough company that they have everything you need but they're not like ADT where you're just another customer. Friends have fancy cameras and fire systems with Custom. They're all pleased as well!!
