Guardian Protection provides home security systems that easily compete with some of the top security companies in the industry. Packages include:

24/7 Monitoring

In addition to the landline monitoring services found in most home security systems, Guardian Protection also provides backup cellular monitoring services in the event that your electricity goes out. Guardian Protection also employs Smash-and-Crash technology to ensure homes remain protected even when the security systems are tampered with or destroyed.

    We had guardian installed the end of last week. One thing my husband wanted to know about was false alarms. He was assured this doesn’t h happen. After the salesman coming for the 4th time my husband decided to change to Guardian . They installed the new alarm on the wall, New smoke detector and new glass breakage. They used our existing motion detectors. We were assured if we had any problem they would be right over. On Saturday we were taking a day outing, set the alarm and about a hour after leaving my husband got a call from Guardian telling him the smoke detector was going off. He said to not call the fire dept and we had to turn around and go home..canceling our plans. After we got home and turned the system off my husband called the salesman who called the service guy who called us. They argued with my husband telling him it was the motion not smoke detector that went off. My husband told them it was installed wrong and they argued with him. First ally they called back and said they had it corrected on their end. When we asked w hat that meant they said they told guardian if t g e smoke detector went o f2f I t was the motion detector and they said they would f u x the problem on Monday. Today, Monday I l etc a n d set he alarm and not even 5 minutes m y husband called me a b d said i d to turn around the alarm was going off. Right now we don’t have much confidence in this product. We will see how they correct the problems tonight.

    Hi I would like to say Guardian is the best company I have ever dealt with the salesman that sold me our system was very knowledgeble and helped us pick out what we needed to protect what matters most to ushis name was Harold if you want good service call him to get a free home zecurity system from guardian protection ***-***-**** he has over22 yrs experience and will treat you good.

    I had Guardian Protection Alarm service for 7years 16years total total having my alarm system . My provider joined became one with Guardian Protection . After having a few other companies that monitored before locally. Not naming any names Guardian Protection Alarm service is THE VERY BEST. They monitor my precious possessions if my alarm goes off their on dispatch police if I’m not available to response to them notifying me or if I’m available upon be notified and ask for police to be dispatch they are on TOP OF THEIR GAME AND GET THE JOB DONE. I have had my gate attempted to be kicked in by unwanted thieves who saw my big dog that was in my back gate so they tried to enter my home the alarm trickle scaring the thieves Guardian Protection Alarm Service dispatch police the thieves or my neighbors won’t even think of trying to break in my home Because they know my home is PROTECTED BY A ALARM AND THAT I HAVE THE VERY BEST ALARM COMPANY MONITORING MY HOME WHEN I’M AWAY. It’s just like I’m sitting home when I’m away from home that’s the picture (EXAMPLE ) you want all thieves to have on their mine THE HOUSE IS MONITOR BY A THE VERY BEST ALARM COMPANY GUARDIAN PROTECTION ALARM SERVICE they are a Fair Company read your lines on your contract READ don’t COMPLAIN IF YOU DON’T READ I DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH GUARDIAN PROTECTION ALARM SERVICE I my contract if there’s something your no in agreement of with the contract they are always willing and there to work out with you a solution a comparison for you to make a final decision what real matters to me they do the job I hired them for and that is to secure and monitor my home when I’m home and away from home dispatch police if need be a AWESOME COMPANY INDEED.

    At this point I rate it a 5. I like having the remote control, and the panic control in case of medical emergencies. Hopefully I will never have an emergency, burglary, or break-in but if I do I do expect that I will get help immediately. You want free advertisement, and I want good service, so send me stickers. I finally received the yard signs this week. Time will tell if this company and system are worth the money I will be spending.

    The most awful company I have ever dealt with in my life. Do not, I repeat, do NOT even think about using these frauds. They have terrible customer service and lie about the length of your contract. I am reporting them to the BBB and hiring an attorney to get me out of the 3 YEAR contract I didn’t even agree to.

    Never had any problems until we updated the system. Since, we have two sensors that keep setting the alarm off. Had to wait 2 weeks to get it looked at even though they just installed it and problems occurred first day. Technician finally came, looked it over, stated he could find nothing wrong and left. Guess what, problem still remained. Alarm went off on same two sensors, cops were called etc. What a mess. Thinking of switching to a new company.

    Can’t discourage anyone enough from Guardian. Got the service and when I had to drop for a move was still forced to pay out the full contract. My mistake in going with a contract, and in particular with Guardian. Was way too expensive for what we received. Look elsewhere.

    Home security was something we have talked about doing for ourselves for several years but had never done. Then 1 day “home security” knocked on our door.

    Everybody was super nice, the salesperson Austin B. was focused but not pushy, and the installation crew was great, quick and tidy.

    I don’t ever hand out 10’s for anything but I’ll give these folks a 9+.

    We are so happy with our Guardian System. We really like that it is a smaller company that connects with its people. I feel so much safer in my home being alone so much of the time. I love how it keeps track of every time something is changed on the alarm system. We would recommend this system to anyone!

    I originally signed up with Guardian in a house that I had on the market. The salesman told me not to worry about the five year term. If I sold the house, I wouldn’t need the service, would I? Ha!!! I have since moved twice, and have gotten stuck with a service that I neither need nor want. (I live in a gated community with provided security through the HOA). Good luck getting out of any contracts with this company.

    We signed up with guardian early 2015 hoping that they are a good security service provider, but we were wrong. Initially they would answer calls right away and would call if an alarm went off, but then they became extremely unreliable. Never would bother to call and check if the alarm went off, to see if there was an actual emergency or an actual threat. After calling for a technician we would have to wait for days to get a problem fixed, and in the mean time go without the security which we were paying for. They also charged us for the sensors that have gone bad which should have been free.
    When we sold the house in December, we cancelled the service with guardian and explained to them how dissatisfied we were and did not want their service at the new place. They cancelled the monitoring and send us a cancellation letter. Once we moved to the new place, guardian started haunting us with calls and bills. They are billing us for service that we did not use. When I told them that we cancelled, they are telling me I still owe them money for the rest of the months until the one year contract is up or I have to use them in the new house even if I do not like the service. God almighty, I thought I lived in America and not in a communist country where some one would tell me I must do something whether I like it or not. Guardian, your security system stinks and so does your customer service.

    Technicians were knowledgable and quick to install our equipment. Love that it is armed through our cellular devices. Our contract was sent to us through email which I can save or print if I need it. Signs and stickers were left that night but the most important thing is the system itself is easy to use and works great. We did sign a 5 year contract but it can be transferred to a new home and the rates are locked in. Technicians helped us decide the best placement of the equipment and explained we could always add more equipment as we see a need.

    Not a happy experience. Over 15 days since system was installed. Have no written contract, no written information on how system works, and no outdoor signs or window stickers.
    Now find keychain system not working. More telephone calls and visit ahead to correct this.
    Really sorry I answered the door when the rep called and I changed over.

    Have had guardian for about 4 months now and I must say for us they have been quick on their feet. I was cooking one day and a pan had a hole in it smoke was everywhere alarm went off immediately. I disarmed the alarm they asked for the password and they called didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer they left a message. I called back by the time I did fire department was outside. They checked everything and was good to go. The sensors are super sensitive. We have set them off by forgetting to unarm the house even opening a door or window. They call through the monitor tell me the location which was set off. Ask do I need police and are you safe. Then ask for my name and password tell me to have a good day and is there anything else they can do. Overall, we are very pleased. Only con is when the alarm goes off trying to find the button to move the red screen to disarm is hassel because the noise is so loud. But, hey at least we know it works.

    BUYER BEWARE!!! I signed up with Guardian after seeing some good reviews and being told I had qualified for a ‘free’ installation and payments of $42.99/mo. The technician came out, was friendly, and installed everything and left.

    We sold the house 6 months later and moved into a home with an existing security system. I called and spoke to a representative named Chris who informed me that I had signed a 5 year agreement. He sent me a copy of the document which they are now doing through docusign. I looked through the document and realized that while I had signed one part of the document to verify that installation was complete, that my initials all over the rest of the document had been forged. I have sent emails, spoken to Chris and another representative named Matt and thought that the contract was being canceled. However, I continue to get calls from the company.

    I called again today and spoke to a representative named William. I was told that in order to cancel service that I needed to contact the police, but that even after I do that, that Guardian are not ‘signature comparers’ and that I am still responsible for a contract that I did not agree to.

    At this point I would never do business with this shady company. It shouldn’t have taken this much time and energy to cancel a contract that was clearly forged by someone in their employ.

    Beware….DO NOT do business with Guardian Protection Services!

    I have been using guardian for 6 months, didn’t realize until I had a fire at home. I had fire, all alarms installed by construction builder went off but the alarm from guardian didn’t detect the fire, and they didn’t respond to situation. They said “there has to be more smoke” which to me is ultimately they want your house to burn down and then they will respond, then what’s the point of fire alarm ? I didn’t realize I have only 1 smoke detector by them on 2nd floor, no smoke detector in basement and no smoke detector in 1st floor or garage. So if there if fire on either basement or garage wait for it to burn to the smoke to reach to 2 nd floor and then they will respond. They are very smart, saved couple hundred of dollars by not installing enough smoke detectors. Not recommended.

    The sign up process was horrible. They sent contracts via e-sign, which were incorrect, and did not include what was agreed upon. I refused to sign, they kept re-sending, with additional incorrect information. they finally agreed to send me a paper copy, but sent it to the wrong address. Still errors, which I crossed out and signed and sent back. They would not accept with corrections, so they sent another. FINALLY, we received an accurate, acceptable contract. Signed and sent back.
    THEN, installation was over a month out – since they are “so busy”, BUT – my “rep”magically found a spot he was able to grab for me, which was only about 3 weeks out.
    IN THE MEANTIME, while we were correcting contracts and waiting for installation – we had a fire, which destroyed the interior of the house. This being one week before installation – which was to include a smoke detector.
    I let me “rep” (Eric) know, – and all they could do is waive the installation fee and offer an additional smoke detector.
    THEN…I got the bill, which was sent to the wrong address again, and included the installation fee.
    My rep isn’t calling me back – we will see how this goes.
    And in the interim, I’m still waiting for window stickers, which I have requested at least six times. Turns out they were being sent to the wrong address.

    Very poor customer service. I ordered cameras over a year ago and despite six service calls they still do not work. Now Guardian wants me to pay over $3000 to break the contract. They never keep track of previous promises. Don’t use video services with Guardian. Get any promise in writing.
