Awful - I asked them to attach a sump pump to my alarm system - over 6 months later, it's still not working correctly! Every time the power flickers, they send call with a MEDICAL alert and attempt to send an ambulance and fire truck - once they did despite me calling them back!

Koorsen is a company residential users should AVOID at all cost. I chose them in Kokomo, IN because they were local and had service technicians on hand. I've been a customer for probably 10 years. Then suddenly, unannounced, I found that Mr. K had sold my account to someone named AFA associates and would no longer service my account. As expected, a problem propped up that required assistance. I made a personal visit to the local office and was told Koorsen had sold my account and could no longer offer service. WOW ! I called the AFA number they gave me (877-348-0941). After a considerable delay I was connected to a man whose 2nd language was English and who couldn't follow what I was telling him. Said to send an email. I've been waiting a week and the system is still down. I suggest that you don't choose Koorsen. They'll stick it to you in the end for profit.

I cancelled service and was the told I had allegedly signed a 5 year contract. I would have never had signed such a document as we were negotiating the sale of our home. Deceptive at best, fraudulent at worst. I WOULD CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!

We have a five year contract with Koorsen, which ends in November. Last week, we heard someone breaking into a trailer at the side of our house.I pressed the panic button (silent alarm). Nothing happened after 15 minutes. No call, no police, nothing! I finally called the police myself. The monitoring system states that it never received a signal, although I used the panic button at both the upstairs and downstairs control panels. Although they broke their end of the bargain by not providing a working system, they insist we pay the final quarter of the contract. OK, it's not a great deal of money, but it is the principal! For all we know, we have paid for a system that has never worked. Unreliable!
