3-Year Contract

One downside of Protect America Home Security is its 3-year (36-month) contract.

Cancellation Policy

IQ Panel 2 (Upgraded Control Panel)

Protect America offers several different types of sensors.

They have the door and window sensors which detect whenever the door or window is opened. The Protect America door and window sensors are wireless microsensors which means they do not have to be plugged into your wall and are hidden out of the way.

This is a deadbolt door lock that you can control from your mobile app for keyless access to your house.

The keychain remote works up to 100 feet and includes a flashlight and an alarm sound.

Indoor Camera: $100

You should avoid this company like the plague. They use cheap equipment that doesn't work half the time. And when you notify them the system isnt wotking, they keep billing you while you are waiting for replacement parts they say they will send but never do. Their accounting system is a total disaster. They are extremely harassing. Apparently a total lack of internal communication. I've had their service many years and the only time I had a break in and needed them, the system didn't work.

The representative was able to assist me just fine, and I accomplished what I needed to do. This is not his fault - but the set up of the app and online access is very spotty and unreliable. All I needed to do was reset my password. This took about 1 hour to do, after lockouts (due to a wrong password I was given), and multiple error messages online that didn't make sense.
