SAFE Security asserts that their main focus is on customer satisfaction; they concentrate on customer care through building custom security and safety systems, offering live call center customer service and providing free home security audits.

SAFE Security provides three different services or products. First, they sell and install home security and safety alarm systems. SAFE Security offers a wireless home security solution:

I gave had their service for five and a half years. I called to cancel my service and they told me my contract doesn't exprire until October. I did not renew my contract but they said it renews automatically. If I cancel it now. I have to pay for the remaining months. They are real scam artists.

Safe Security is a company I would not recommend to anyone. My father is 86 with dementia and first phase of Alzheimer and in his confusion he signed up with a new security company and never canceled his service with SAFE. I learned of this after his contract had auto renewed. The new security company understood the situation and canceled his contract without question. SAFE the company my dad had used for YEARS sent him to a collection agency while emailing me saying they were looking into it. Stay away from this company.

Awful, evil people............ I signed up with an outfit called APX in 2006. Paid automatically until 2014. By then it had sold to Safe Security. I called to cancel in 2014. Was told to write a letter. Wrote a letter the same day. Noticed in 2016 that they were still taking money out of my account. Since I had cancelled they had taken nearly $1000 out of my account. When I called they claimed they had never received my letter. Instead of apologizing and cancelling my account, they blamed me for not following up. They put me on with a supervisor in "Customer Relations" who was nothing but rude. I never asked for any money back, only that they stop taking money out of my account. They did, but then started sending me paper invoices. When I didn't pay them, they turned my account over to a collection outfit. Instead of paying me back the $1000, now they have the audacity to want another $500. I haven't even had a landline to hook up with them for years. I call the collection company, Hillcrest Davidson and some rude guy named Dustin offers to do me a favor and settle for $400. When I don't accept that he says he I will see it in my credit report. These people have no conscious, no sense of right or wrong or any sense of how to treat people. I was a good customer for 8 years and that was not enough for their greed.

I had a maintenance contact that required me to pay a $25 deductible. For my one and only service call in 5 years, the company said the service bill was too large and decided that I needed to pay more than the $25. The company put unauthorized charges on my credit card. I called customer service 3 times to complain about the unauthorized charges. 1 time the customer service rep said they didn't handle billing issues and hung up on me. Twice I was told that no one from billing was available to speak to me but that someone would call back within 48 hours. No one ever returned my call. When I tried to cancel my contract the company said I could only cancel once per year, and that 30 day notice was required prior to my anniversary date to cancel. I called If I could give this company less than 0, I would.

First thing I have had Safe over three years, two weeks ago my smoke detector started chirping once in a while, I replaced the batteries same thing. I called and they took mr through steps and than said they will send a man out and there will be a 35.00 charge, I said just send me a detector and I will change it out, i was told she cant do that so I told her i will leave it off. On March i emailed a cancelation of service as of 4-1-17 and sent out a letter via mail. I called today and asked how they want the equipment back and was told its mine but there is a 177.00 charge. The original contract says after 3 yrs. it will be a yr. to. yr. unless the Dealer or Subscriber gives 30 day notice. There is a word that the dealer reserves the right to charge the SUBSCRIBER a incidental cost, well to a Senior living on SS 177.00 is not inciental

We originally signed up to Pinnacle and they sold our contact to safe security back in 2014. We no longer need the security system and when I called over year again they advised I was out of contract. So now that we no longer need the system I called wanting to cancel and was told I would have to pay $400.00 for canceling. I was told my contact was over and now they are saying it renewed for another year due to no cancelation. Nothing was ever sent to us stating our contract would renew and have told us time and time again they would send us the original contract and the never have. They have the worst customer services. They also stated we would have to mail in our cancelation letter witch we have mailed over and over. We no longer in need of the system and they have made it so hard to get out the this contract.

Service for reconnecting sensors will take a month. Customer service never calls back. I had them for 4 years and not happy! They will not give the program code out, which I own my equipment, that is against the law. Plus it is a law now that after your 36 months, it is month to month contract. This is a California law.

It sucks paying for a service everyday, that is useless and does not work properly after multiple complaints, and can not leave the contract. This is horrible customer service at it's best, and a total rip off DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you can not provide reliable service that is SAFE to use, you should not be able to hold customers hostage for bad service.

Terrible company, real name is Elite. Sold me upgraded equipment that they never delivered. Installed system so poorly that it was falling off the ceiling 6 hours later. Never correctly installed camera door bell. Said they only installed system but that another system monitored it. 3 months later sent me a fed ex letter with a contract that they wanted me to sign. I did not sign it. Sent me another FedEx letter with contract that I also did not sign. Started taking money out of my account in addition to the money being taken out by the company that was monitoring me, without my permission or a contract. They argued with the other company ( monitronics) about who owned my contract for five months while they both charged me monthly fees. Sent me a letter from Safe Security under the pretense of being another security company that was taking over the monitoring of our system and now they are taking money from my account. Total joke. Read reviews on both them and Elite and they are the same terrible company with the same terrible scams. In fact, the man that sold us our system has reviews from 2009 where he was scamming a lying to other people even back then. They say that they lose you cancellation letters and continue to charge you, refusing to allow you to cancel and that they attack your credit. Beware, they are bad news.

The worse company ever. Below par equipment. In 18 months the system has worked properly MAYBE 10 months. Current issue faulty wireless radio communicator, spoke to tech over week end told me how to dismiss code & request office call to set up appt they did not, called Monday, Tuesday & again today on Wed, finally got subcontractors name, # & job order info, called service Co, they received job today & can't come out until next Tues. Tonight it sounded a signal alarm, fast beeping 10+ times. It will not stay dismissed as it is faulty!!!! Response is you have to wait for the tech next Tuesday. Do not use this company

This is the worst company to do business with I,ve ever seen or been involved. i cancelled by service aeveral months ago, via certified mail. I keep receiving a bill for payment even after geting a call that everythng was OK and no further action was required from me. The payment bills keep cpming. I'm not going to have any further contact with them after seeing so many negative commits about this business. I never contacted them for service in the first place, but was delt them when they purchased the alarm company I had. Its a good thing the call I received from Safe Security was RECORDED, so their on record. P.S. I had prepaid them for a month when I cancelled, and gave them 30 days to do so.

we were told when we first got the service from a different company that i guess was purchased by this company that if we moved, we could cancel the contract. That was 3 years ago when we first got the service. Now that we are moving to a new place, they are saying we cannot cancel the contract but that we could transfer it. okay, i guess we could do that. oh i forgot to mention that if we transfer it, we have to get another 3 contract. i dont think so, if it comes down to it, we will just pay the balance for the last 2 years and get them out of our lives.

Worst business EVER. Unethical. When I cancelled they wanted an email stating that I had cancelled. In spite of that they are calling and saying I owe them money. Do not use this service. They are completely useless. Their customer service is a joke. I am considering going after them legally just to get them to stop calling. The worst business I have ever encountered. Do NOT sign a contract with them under any circumstances.

When I cancelled they wanted an email stating that I had cancelled. In spite of that they are calling and saying I owe them money. Do not use this service. They are completely useless. Their customer service is a joke. I am considering going after them legally just to get them to stop calling.

Do not Trust Safe Security!!! After 12 years of paying in full and on time, I made several attempts to cancel the service. It is no longer needed, so I followed all instructions and paid for an additional 9 months to complete the annual contract. I was promised on the phone that the contract was paid and they would stop billing me. Now I am threatened with collections for $355 because I canceled too early in the year! Their contract must be cancelled prior to 30 days but not more than 60 before it automatically renews! If only one person can learn from my terrible experience, then it is worth sharing.

This company is a scam. I cancelled my contract in 2011. They proceeded to withdrawal funds from my account until 2016. They advised that they never received my letter of cancellation, which I have a copy of. Customer Service supervisor was not very helpful or professional. As you can see from the above reviews, many feel the same. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!

We started with the company and had no problems with them. We were always noted when the alarm was set off and in a wonderful timely matter. However, each year we received offers with other companies for the same service at a lower price. We knew are original three year contract was up so we went ahead and changed to another company. I was told by the other company that but signing a piece of paper they were going to notify Safe Security that we changed. A month went by and I never received a call from Safe Security telling me that they were not receiving a signal from us. Then they withdrew the monthly charge. I called and they told me I had to cancel my account by letter or fax and that I had restarted my contract for another year by just paying my bill. (Never did I receive a letter in the mail or email stating that by paying this months bill I was reatarting a contract) So I was going to have to double pay for five months! I did so and sent out the letter. I then called to see if they had received my letter they had not so I was told they would wave one month and I would be able to fax it in. I again faxed it and called to make sure they received it. Two months went by and no call no withdraws so I thought nothing of it. Then I got a call from a woman at #4197 at number 1800-754-8826 who told me they never got the letter and that I owe them over 90.00!!!! I did raise my voice and told her no I did not owe them anything! I went throw the whole thing with her. But after I said you instead of your company she got very mad with me and said I didn't say or do that. I then told her yes I know you personally did not do that I mean your company. Please don't take everything I say personally! She then continued to speak very rude to me. I never use swear words and was never using them with her. However, I did tell her, she needed to get better trained to deal with people. I hung up and called back asking for a supervisor, after she told me there wasn't anyone. I then was taken back to her! She told me that I needed to pay the money. I did raise my voice again at her and told her to note my account that I wasn't going to pay a dime and if I had to I would take her to court regarding it! She then told me not to yell like that in front of my baby! ( seeing she had heard me talking to my four year earlier to go back to bed) I then lost it! I told her how dare you tell me how to be a mother or call me a bad mother! I never once say a bad word or call her a name!!! I did raise my voice but never did I yell at the top of my voice! This company is great until you walk away!!! Then forget it!!! They would be the worst awful people I have EVER dealt with and I will NEVER do business with them again!

Please Avoid signing a CONTRACT with SAFE SECURITY . They're one of the WORST COMPANY I ever have to deal with! I have tried to get repairs for 8 months already and they never send nobody and when I call they transfer me from 1 to 20 different people and don't even try to resolve my problem . After 8 months without any alarm system they keep sending me bills and all this time since my alarm is not working I also been trying to CANCEL the service but they REFUSE and want me to pay like $200.00 . Please BE WARE they will continue to send you bills and they won't cancel your CONTRACT . This is the most HORRIBLE, WORST,UNETHICAL COMPANY THEY HAVE DONE THIS NOT JUST TO ME BUT TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. DON'T EVER GET THIS SAFE ALARM COMPANY.

I have had a security alarm system this company for over 10 years. I pay $22 for monitoring, $10 for wireless back up ?? and $ 7.95 for "extended maintenance?? After requesting a change in the monitoring to my name only about 1 year ago due to divorce. I decided to cancel my unused system only to be told that they had locked me into a new 3 year contract that I dit not agree to and without disclosure. I reported them to consumer protection. Also I triggered the alarm, nothing happens. Equipment faulty, complained, no one responds. Scam, AVOID!!

I was with Safe Security for 8 years and when we moved we called to cancel their service they stated we would have to pay the full last year of our second contract with them. This was around $460. If I wanted to transfer my service I would have to pay a transfer fee, but they couldn't tell me exactly what that would be, as well as sign a new multi-year contact. Please avoid this awful company at all costs!

This company bought out my account from another company who I had the greatest customer experience with. Safe Security took over the account and they have the worst customer service and I didn't even have any say so in the switch, I was just notified that they were now the new owners of my account. I've asked for services and they refuse to call me back. Today their website links are all down, so I am wondering if I have a security company at all. I've placed a phone call and nobody answered and I had to leave a message. Let's see if anyone calls back. Not a happy customer.

This outfit (SAFE) is as shady and unethical of a business that I have ever encountered. I had satisfied my contract with ADT and got a mailer from safe telling me that they had taken over my account. I have never signed any contract with SAFE. I have tried to cancel for 8 months now and they keep sending me bills. They are the poorest excuse of a business I have ever encountered. Loan sharks have higher levels of ethics.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I was a customer for over five years and when I sold my home I tried to transfer service to my new home. The sales team never returned calls (and don't answer the phone) and the customer service team won't cancel your account even after multiple notifications, so I continued paying for a new homeowner to have service in my old home. After almost a full year trying to resolve the situation I asked what it would cost to terminate the contract and was given two different prices in the same phone call (one nearly $300 and the other nearly $800!!). They refused to provide in writing that they acknowledged receiving my cancellation letter (even though they verbally confirmed it had been on file for months). This is the most unethical company I've ever done business with in my life. Beware.

Horrible. Fulfilled our contract and provided them with written notification of our intent to cancel. Confirmed with them several times that our contract would terminate and not be renewed. Now, 2 months after the contract ended they are sending us bills and marking them past due. Calls to the company did no good so we have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will be hiring an attorney. Stay clear of this terrible company.

Safepay Security systems is an absolute scam. They have purposely billed me after repeated attempts to cancel the service past the contract period. They have taken over $200 in additional fees after cancellation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE NOT UPFRONT AND THEY ARE THE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROCESSING REQUESTS.

Few years i had a security system. This system was sold to safe secure systems without my knowledge. I cancelled my contract with them when my contract was up. For over a year they continued to take money out of my checking account. When i realized this was happening i called them. They stopped taking money out and told me they had my cancellation notice. They owe me over 1000 dollars and keep telling the check is in the mail. Be very careful with this company.

One day I missed an alarm notifiction call from Safe Security. I immediately called back using redial to the number 800-669-7779 and no one knew anything about our alarm going off. Something similar happened once before, so I pressed her on it and she then put me on hold. During the extended hold the police arrived. The phone got disconnected during that hold so, I spoke to the police about it for a while and after that called Safe Security back once again calling the same number used to inform me of the alram. Still no one knew anything about the alarm, I now have a false alarm assesment of $96.00 from the city. I have made a dozen or so calls and they continually disconnect me, put me on extended holds and no resolution.

BE VERY AWARE!!! One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with! I have been with SAFE for a while with no real issues. But... When I moved to a new house, I called them to see what I needed to do. They told me that if the new owners took over my contract that they would replace my system. They did not tell me that replacement of my system meant a starter kit. I had over a dozen additional sensors and equipment. I had to fight and basically beg them to replace my system to what I had because they did not tell me to take what was above and beyond a keypad, 3 sensors and a motion sensor. After many, many phone calls they finally came close to my old system. Then I get a phone call saying I have not paid my bill when I was signed up for automatic bill pay. I paid my charge and the rep said he was correcting the problem. Well three months later I get another phone call saying that if I don't pay my bill that it would go to collections thinking that I was signed up for auto bill pay. I have spent almost 12 hours on the phone with them that I will never get back! The amount of times thy put me on hold for a half hour or more is unacceptable. They must be laughing at me on the other end. After all my many issues (I haven't event listed all of them because I am tired of typing) I asked them to reduce my contract to1 year and not 3. I just don't see that it is fair to be stuck in a 3 year contract with someone that I have had so many issues with. This is apparently to much to ask! FIND ANOTHER COMPANY.

BEWARE! When someone is parked in your driveway when you get home and tells you they are there to just "upgrade" your software.................DO NOT SIGN their paperwork unless you read it very carefully. I took the person at their word only to discover three monthls later that by signing, I renewed my service contract for another 36 months. READ THE REVIEWS LISTED HERE!

We were loyal customers to this home monitoring company for over seven years. After our first five years as customers, we bought a home in a nearby suburb of Fort Worth, TX and transferred our contract to our new address. This was a relatively seamless process with the exception of SAFE Security requiring us to purchase a second smoke detector from them for $90 for the upstairs. All of the customer service reps that handled our address change and transfer of equipment to the new home referred to our account changes as a "transfer". Never once did anyone from SAFE Security mention that a "new contract" would begin with the address change. We unknowingly signed what we thought was a "transfer of service" to the new address. After just over two years in the new home we had to sell our home and relocate to Pennsylvania for a new job. When I called SAFE Security to cancel our service contract, since we are now in a temporary rental home, I was informed for the first time of the new 36 month contract that began when we moved to our home in Fort Worth. I was also shocked to find out that we would be charged a cancellation fee after being loyal, consistent customers with no gap in service for more than seven years. I was also very disappointed in the poor quality of customer service I was given during the cancellation process. During my first call of the day, I was put on hold for about 15 minutes only to be transferred to another agent and start the whole process over again. The second agent also put me on a hold for a similar length of time. That call ended abruptly with my call being transferred to the voice mail of another customer service rep. I then hung up and called back. This time I spoke with Kabrill, one of the customer service managers. His tone was sassy and he made sure to let me know that the reason I could not hear him speak on the line clearly was because he had to turn down the volume on his line due to my voice being too loud. The call ended when he hung up on me as I was letting him know that I would not be paying any kind of cancellation fee and I was upset that he was not able to resolve the situation. I was forced to call back a third time. This time I did speak to a nice woman that allowed me to give her my mailing address for our final bill. This company seems very desperate to hang on to customers at all costs, even if the services provided are no longer needed by the customer. There is no appreciation for customer loyalty.
