Safeguard Security has years of experience and high customer satisfaction. For new customers with a flexible budget, Safeguard offers a unique approach towards contracts. Most security dealers require a certain length of a contract, typically around 3-5 years; however, if you can afford to pay extra upfront for some or all of the equipment you can lower the contract length. This policy is rare in the industry and shows Safeguard's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Safeguard Security and Communications Inc. offer a warranty, but when the warranty runs out, you will have to purchase an extension. There is also the option of purchasing rental programs to help cover the cost of replacing equipment, but it will cost you a few extra bucks to extend the warranty or purchase a rental program.

I was told I would have my old service contract bought out, nothing happened . Was told 6 months free. nothing happened, I still paid those months. Was not told about a new contract and was not left with any paperwork. this company and sales rep lied and was not truthful on any of the service I was promised. i tried to cancel many times becuase im still payin on my old system and now I'm stuck paying both.

These are the rudest people you will ever talk to I have spoke to 3 different customer service representatives and each experience was horrible. They are mean and when they couldn’t find a solution to my problem I was hung up on. It’s really sad that these people have the nerve to speak to their customers the way they do.

Horrible - Have had the service for upwards of 13 years and a few years ago they were acquired. Since then the service and the actual reliability is just trash. Alarm goes off - nobody calls - steep charge for all service calls even when its an equipment malfunction - rude customer service - they deserve the rating they have. We are dumping them forthwith.

Not much about this company is worth anything any more. The Patrol Officers: are over worked, under paid, and it shows in their performance/structure/response. Dispatch: can't keep up and keep employees. Training is poor, even more so since the "buy out" because no one is on the same page. They're almost robotic and very rude to an extent. It was never that way before Safe took over. Robin is an incredible manager, but Safe also ruined that. Sales: Over sells, and takes advantage of people just for a couple bucks. Although, that's acceptable because that's how Safe wants it. Dishonest company (Safe). Service: A joke front to back, again at the hands of Safe Security. Weeks to get an appointment, crappy attitudes, and rude. Customer Support: IF you can get through to them, they are unprepared, slow and understaffed. Management has no clue the behind the scenes of this department. Cancellations: ONE if the ladies is very sweet and reasonable and the other rude and argumentative. Techs: some are great, some are not. Lots of complaints about specific techs. Again, Safe would rather a tech do a crap job just to get more $$ because they will have to go back. Unfortunately, sales screws the techs constantly making the company look worse than it already is. ** Safe screwed up Safeguard and everything it stood for. It's not about the clients, its about the bottom dollar. Any customer is a "$ sign" and is being taken advantage of in many ways from Warranties, to fees for EVERYTHING and they don't disclose this info to clients. Safe likes the element of suprise and conflict.

We cancelled after 20 years with this organization. At the time we were paying over $50. per month for service and while out of town received a notice of a water leak from our water company. I called and left a voice message for Safeguard and requested to have their on premise roving security truck stop at our house and turn off the water. No response to my request was received and the next day I called again and could not reach a real person and left a message asking for a return call. Never received a return call. When I returned home I cancelled our service and wrote a letter to Safeguard's V.P. which was never responded to.

They are the worst company. They are Rude and treat there employees with no respect and in a threatening and intimidating matter. Most behind closed doors. They rarely monitor as Most employees are asleep on their shift. Free equipment is great but watch for what comes with it.

Great company even better customer service all installation was free ..alll I pay monthly is 35 bucks better to get it from a rep than online cost us nothing at all
