  • Response Rate: SafeTouch prides itself on its guaranteed 45-second response time, meaning that if your security system is triggered in any way, you will hear from a SafeTouch representative in under a minute.
  • Warranty: There is a warranty on both parts and service for as long as you are a SafeTouch customer. And if you are not completely satisfied within 30 days, you may return your security system for a full refund.
  • Contract: SafeTouch features a 36-month minimum contract requirement, which can be a long-term commitment for new customers. Customers do have the option to pay a month-by-month contract after two years, but unless they specify this as their preference, SafeTouch will role them into an additional two-year contract.
  • Our Recommendation: While SafeTouch responds quickly and provides a warranty for parts and service, their long-term contract and lack of company transparency is reason enough to look elsewhere for home security. Companies like Protect America and Frontpoint are viable options.

    Safe Touch has provided very poor service. They recommended I install a CDMA cellular module to alert their monitor center. I paid $75 plus an addition monthly fee for this service. There were many communication alerts for several years but but stuck with the service. Beginning about two years ago they notified me that the CDMA box I had purchased was obsolete and I needed to buy a 2g cellular. So I paid another $75 and had to install it. For the next 6 months the system five or 6 times a day. Finally the 2G cellular system went completed down. Over the following 4 weeks of complete shut down Saf Touch never even called to tell me that the alarm system support I was paying for was not working. I finally called and told them. They then told me I had to buy a 4g LTE modem. I complained and they agreed to exchange the 2g with the 4g for free all I have to do was pay the $20 shipping. What a rip off! one more thing, their Tech Service used to be very responsive when you called. Now they never answer the phone, all you get is a recording that they are all busy, please leave a message. I am now shopping for a new alarm service provider

    BUYER BEWARE!

    $$$ RIP OFF

    If you need to cancel your contract early due to moving, sold your home or even going into a assisted living facility SAFETOUCH SECURITY SYSTEMS will not let you out of your contract.

    They don’t offer an early termination fee like most contracts.

    You must keep paying your monthly monitoring fees even though you no longer live in the house for possibly years or you can full pay all the months left in your contract in advance, just like a bad gym membership.

    $$$ RIP OFF
    They don’t offer an early termination fee if you move or sell your home. You are stuck paying the full amount of contract.

    enjoyed having him and his sidekick in my home.
    He gave me some information I was not aware of and that was very helpful.

    I called in September and cancelled my service because we were moving. We had been with Safe Touch for years. When I called and cancelled the service I was never told that I needed to also cancel my service via an e-mail nor was I told that I would have to continue to pay until the end of my contract year which was March 2018, This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I never received a bill from Safe Touch after cancelling my service. They claim they tried to call, but of course that number was disconnected. Why not send a letter. All my mail was being forwarded to my temporary address, Why not the mail from Safe Touch? I will never again use Safe Touch Security nor would I recommend them to others..

    After the signing up with safe touch 3 months later our camera stopped working. The two way communicator barely comes on if the alarm goes off. After a year of dealing with this poor quality security system we wanted to cancel but low and behold we are apparently locked into a 5year contract which was not discussed durning the initial sign up. I would have never agreed to a 5year contract for anything!

    Customer service is a joke . Unable to provide a simple answer to a simple question, being passed on from one person more incompetent than the other . 15 minute phone calls most of it on hold .

    Unable to cancel service because only 1year into it although adequate service can not be provided. One week waiting time for service person to be dispatched to fix system.

    The Safe Touch monitoring connection is far too delicate; It is undependable. That is the primary reason that they want you to check it monthly, they are aware of the unreliable equipment.
    We have frequently lost the telephone monitoring and incurred a service charge for them to repair their equipment.
    I highly urge anyone that requires monitoring via telephone to go elsewhere for a security system.

    Make sure you read the Security Service Agreement, specifically section 5.1 before you sign! The security consultant will NOT point it out while throwing 9 forms at you to sign. “The primary term of this Agreement shall be for a period of five(5) years from the date of the first billing.” They do not care about customer service; just the bottom line. Horrible company.

    I have never had a problem with Safetouch until I moved. I wanted to pass on the equipment to a relative since I was still paying for the system. They would not transfer the system after the customer service person told me that was possible. When the consultant went to the residence to see where the system could be applied the home owner was told that he had to pay $2000.00 for another system. I called Safetouch and bow they indicated they don’t transfer the system to another home unless it remains in my name. Switch & bait tactic. I won’t be using their services ever again.

    At first this seems like a good plan, buy your system and have lower monthly payment. Well it’s a scam, once you pay for the systems (S1500.00) the monthly rate goes up to $49.00 a monthly, just like the other security company, therefore it’s best to buy from another company and pay monthly payments.     SafeTouch is terrific and Mike did a great job. He solved some minor issues we were having and did complete and thorough tests of our entire system. I did not feel he was rushing, but was careful, professional and friendly. Great job! Bravo SafeTouch!

    We cancelled services after our 5 year contract, which is obsurd! This was in august. Received a notice from a collection agency that’s stated we never returned their equipment and owe 600.00! Not only did they try to get an extra 50.00 from us when we cancelled, now they never mentioned equipment nor mailed any notices and sent it directly to collection! This company is unreal! STAY AWAY!

    Burglarized with Safe Touch. Lost everything. 1.8 million dollar lost. The largest jewelry store heist in North Florida and we were secured with safetouch. Beware. They only have a $250 liability also on their contract.
