We` could not be more disappointed with this company. My Mother has been using this company for her alarm system. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Dementia at a young age and her life has changed drastically. We had no other option than to move her due to her health to a place where she would be safe and taken care of. We had to list her house and finally sold it. When we contacted the alarm company about her condition and canceling her service, they had little regard for her condition and subsequently charged us over $700 to cancel. Initially the man that we spoke to told us if we were able to get a doctors note as well as a note from the current place she was living, they would be able to review and help us. After we sent the letters, we waited 10 days for a response and did not receive one. Now, a few weeks later and several emails that have been unreturned we again called to get passed off to a few different people. In the end, they told us that they were unable to do anything and we would not get the ridiculous $750 cancellation fee waived. This is both sad and frustrating that a company like this would take advantage of someone's health issues that there is no cure for. Further more, she entered into that contract after being initially diagnosed with Dementia which could be considered taking advantage of someone. Her condition has progressed so far that she did not even know she had this service. It is making a terrible situation that much worse. I would NEVER trust this company with my family's safety, they are shady and are clearly prepared to make money off of other people's incurable illnesses. We did not experience one other problem in getting out of any other contracts due to her condition and I'm completely disgusted at their disregard.

SFI must have a small customer base and I can guess why. We had a young employee gulled into signing a three year contract by the SFI rep. The business was closed a year later. Guardian Protection and SFI will pass the buck back and forth but insist they will continue to bill you for services that should be cancelled. Who benefits? Seemingly they have few customers if they have to act this badly to keep one. Their Customer Service is more like Hostage Negotiation.

I'm so please to have this service. They addressed my every concern. I can now hear the alarm in front of my home as well as the back. The Tech Jeff is awesome. He was very accommodating as I asked questions, demonstrating the product/service. I'm so happy!

My husband entered a drawing from a mower and got a call for a security system. Seemed like a good deal... I'll get to that part later. So first round...they said they would be here at 4 on a Saturday...come 6 pm they call to say we can be there at 8...ugh NO. So, we reschedule for today, Oct. 18th at 4 pm...he showed at 520p and began installing. Showed us all the bells and whistles and why his company was better. As we give him,Travis, all of our information and said here's the deal..$49.99 month and for 60 months...that's right 5yrs...and after 3 days of having their equipment here, we are tied in...and if we cancel $750 fee. 1: why was this information not covered BEFORE the installation began 2: 5 years is a long time - other companies offer less time on a contract 3: his manager, Michael, tried to convince me it was like signing any other contract....only thing...other companies are upfront...they we're not. Felt bad for the kid cause he took all that time to get it in and only minutes to install...at 10pm!! He went from friendly installer to *screw you* call the BBB if you think we did something illegal (which they did not, just shady). And you want me to trust you?! Get bent! Do not use this company...buyer beware. !!!!!!!!

Was called by a sales marketing person Crystal was the name she give. She stated that I could receive a security system for a monthly charge of $ 39.99 per month when I ask about a terminate fee if I didn't like the system & She stated that would be no termination fee if I canceled early. When the SFI tech / installer arrived as per schedule I asked about the statement of the terminating the service he knew nothing about it? He called his office & than informed me that they would install it on a 6 month termination bases. Installation completed & working. Than the false items start to appear like a $ 745.00 early fee , than I was to select a plan ? never was informed of this before equipment was in place ? Wanted a auto bank payment plan again was not upfront about this ? Too many false statement here for a Security Service my opinion & you want me to trust you ?

Motion detectors seem to be designed to prevent, or at least discourage, the homeowner from replacing batteries in them.Everything else so far has been satisfactory

We are very happy with the system and the customer service we have received from Security Force Inc. as well as Guardian. My son signed up for a drawing and won a security system with Security Force Inc. He rents his house and was ineligible to win, so they allowed him to transfer to us. When they called to schedule an appointment for the installer to come, Luke was very informative and helpful. They had a tech working in our area the next day, so we agreed to let him come. The tech’s name was Evan, and he did a great job answering our questions, doing the install and teaching us how to use the system. I compared pricing with similar systems from other companies that three of our neighbors have, and SFI’s monthly monitoring price was lower. Pricing was the same as quoted to us on the phone when Evan cane to do install. We also like the fact that all of their products, including the sensor batteries are lifetime guaranteed. Since the system was just installed today, time will tell but so far we are very impressed with system operation, pricing and professionalism of sales and installation staff.

I had a security system installed recently by Security Force Inc (SFI) and their customer service, professional installation, state of the art user friendly equipment and prices from what I have seen are very hard to beat. I am very impressed with all that and the follow-up that they did to make sure that they had taken care of all my concerns just added to a positive experience. I had to discontinue my home phone services. I had been a SFI customerI for or over 4-years. In order to maintain services without a home phone line required added cost or another extended contract. I contacted customer loyalty which told me I had to pay the full price of the remaining contract ($2100). I sent them a certified letter notifying them that that was NOT reasonable. They never responded to my notice. I gave them sixty days before stopping automatic payment. After the payments stopped Guardian contacted me looking for payments. I informed them of my situation and they told me they would continue to call me monthly and bill me for 4-months and then turn it over to the bill collectors. The bill collectors contacted me for $900. Two points, they sold the bill for less than $900 but for me $2100. SFI nor Guardian would negotiate with me. Through all, SFI never contacted or responded to me and it was them that I contracted with. .

GOT A CALL STATING $37.99 A MONTH AND WE WOULD GET FREE INTALLATION, ONE CAMERA, HELP ALERT, PET SETTING AND IF WE WANTED OTHER CAMERAS IT WOULD BE $8-10 EXTRA PER CAMERA BUT WHEN SHE SPOKE TO MY HUSBAND IT WAS $5-8. SHE ALSO SAID MY HUSBAND HAD ASKED HER TO CALL ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS ON BOARD WITH THIS BUT IN FACT HE NEVER ASKED HER TO CALL ME AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SHE GOT MY NUMBER. WHEN TECH ARRIVED( EVAN A VERY NICE YOUNG MAN) THE CHARGES AND EQUIPMENT WAS NO WHERE NEAR THE CHARGES SHE HAD QUOTED. AND FOR THAT I CHOSE NOT TO GO ANY FARTHER. LIE TO ME ONCE AND THAT IT IT. HOW MANY OTHERS DID THEY LURE IN WITH THIS KIND OF SALES PITCH?

We are being ripped out, lied too and the sales department is very disrespectful once you lock in a contract. O% customer understanding. Sale rep require more training, supervisor require more training and mangers definitely require more training. CEO's need to know how their customers are being treated. They keep asking for more money and less services and the only thing we needed was to move. Two weeks later and services still not installed, and all we are getting is attitude from management, with no customer satisfaction.

In 2013 I was approached by a sales representative for Security Force who basically talked his way into convincing me to try the security system after I told him that I didn't want to purchase it. So I did agree to get the system since it was free and that the monthly charge would be 19.99 month. When the technician finally arrive it was late and almost dark and he was in such a hurry to install this system and also caused 2 rooms to be without power and 1room where the sockets didn't work. I complain and Security Force sent another technician out to repair the damages that the first technician did. He was able to restored the lights in (2) rooms but didn't get the sockets fix in the third room. He stated that when the installment was done the technician hit my household wire and he was able to repair it. So recently I contacted Security Force recently and try to settle with them, come to find out that they claim not to have no record of my complaint or sending a (2) technician back out to my home and stated my contract was for 60 months, I signed a contract for 36 month not 60 months. Also, the bill was suppose to be 19.99 a month and end up being 39.99 a month. I hate company's that take advantage of consumer that are trying to make it, plus I am disable. I refuse to pay another penny for the damage to my home, dissatisfaction of service, being over charge, no records of transaction of service and dishonest company.

Very pushy sales people. My husband had originally wanted to set up with them, and after some discussion we had decided to go a different way. We had tried to call and cancel, but they sent an installer anyway while we weren't available. Later today they've kept calling (at least three times in the past two hours - all times when I wasn't able to take a call), and even then wouldn't leave a message with a way of contacting them back. I finally was able to talk to the representative, who was incredibly rude to me when I said that I wanted us off their list and that we had to reconsider due to other home projects that are taking precedence. The sales rep then when on to say that the other project wouldn't be of help to us when our house burns down! Which of course makes me very worried about the status of my house. My comment was that regardless of that, we can't do this right now and take us off your calling list. She then said that I was being rude and hung straight up. I'm embarrassed that I had to take the call while I had visitors who overheard the conversation and even they were shocked by the sales person's comments. If this is the kind of customer service that happens before a system is even installed, I'd hate to have to deal with them later. I'm very upset with the quality of their representatives.

To SFI Management, I was told before signing up for this contract that moving to a new place in NC SFI will install it for free. No charges will be made to me. The customer service rep today is telling me I have to pay 190$ to have it install in my new home. Plus I have to uninstall the equipment myself at my old place. To add to that, SFI keep trying to lock me into a 60 month contract instead of moving my current contract (32months) to the new house. Beware~~ I challenge management to help me on this matter. I notice you only respond to 5 star ratings and none of the unsatisfied customers. Make that change today. Give me a good contact number to reach you.
