I had an emergency needed medical couldnt find my phone, opened the door so the alarm would sound, and used the key pad to alert and have medical respond...nothing ..no call from the company. The next day I called to complain they stated no alarm was triggered. Total BS...do not trust your family's safety to this company. You will be sorry.

HORRIBLE! Had to talk to three different supervisors and then threaten to take to court before my account was cancelled! For a multi-billion dollar company, they are scum of the earth! Don't walk, RUN away from them! Not worth it at all.

System is outdated and the customer service is horrible. If you try to cancel they will not update your account ,and try to get a couple more payments out of you even if it's after the contract has ended. My advice is to run far away from this company.

Have subscribed to this service for 4 years. Have never liked the service since beginning. Although I am electronically adept, I have never been able to program the thermostat. It has always been difficult to communicate with customer service. I have ordered replacement parts several times before finally receiving them. Recently two orders for door sensors stickers have gone infilled. They have refused to provide a service call, without paying a 100 fee. I am in the process of replacing the service.

This company treats their customers badly after almost eight years with it I need to move out and they want to charge me about $300 for moving out to do a new contract check my credit when I made direct payment with them if you disconnect they want to charge you about $500 For new customers When other companies as a new customer offer you the same thing but free to check before making a contract with this company please

I f you are looking to have ATT Digital life as your provider I suggest you do not, They have the worst service and the customer service is even worst. Don't even bother writing to the Office of the Predisent, the representatives are even nastier and i=unfriendly than dialing the 800 number... you are wasting your time in talking to them. I had excellent service and great customer service before and that is why I selected them when I moved.. Well that was a nightmare .. false selliing tactics.. did not receive what I was told I would receive.. The set u was horrible had to inconvenience myself by having the tech come out about four times before everything was hooked up, and then it still was not done.. Was on the phone for over 2 hours to try to get it set up correctly.. When I say a nighmare .. so take my advice go somewhere else. If there was a rating on here and it had negative 100 that is what I would score them.

The Manager is just too smart to hold a conversation with me. I asked a simple question 3 times and she found 3 different ways to avoid it and answer a different question. Guess I’ll just have to find another security company that’s half the price and has better service. What a hassle..

It was very difficult to communicate with the customer service representatives. I signed a 24 month contract. We sold our home the company still charged us cancellation fees even though our contract was up. I will never use thier service again

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JOKERS -- We had ADT for years and my wife got sold on packaging our home security with ATT wireless and DirectTV service, so that we'd bundle and save. The initial installation went well and the system seemed to be working for a couple of years, after which all of the batteries started failing. One day I got a call from ATT Digital Life telling me that there was a problem with one of my fire detectors. After replacing the battery and trying to troubleshoot with tech support they sent a technician out (stating that if it wasn't a failed unit I'd have to pay the service fee). The technician came out and told me that not only had the detector failed but that there had never been proper fire detection because there was only 1 detector in the basement of a 5-level house (all of the other detectors were the old ADT detectors). Now they want to charge me the 2 services calls for coming out and fixing a system that was never working in the first place. Even when I cancelled they still say that I owe them $. SCAM!!!

I had the service for 3 years and 6 months paying $64.00 a month. They never lower my monthly payment, after I complete the 2 years contract. Very poor quality of the equipment. When I called them to disconnect the service because, I got a better company, better service and better equipment & payment, they offered a lower payment. I told them, I do not want your service anymore. I asked them to disconnect the service the next day in the morning and they did it right away after I called , leaving my family without protection until the next day that I got my new alarm company service. My payment was current and when I called them back to tell them I ask you to disconnect the service tomorrow. The told me if they connect my service back I had to pay an extra month even though it was their wrongdoing. I told them no THANK YOU FOR YOUR BAD SERVICE.. ATT DO NOT CARE FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR GOOD CUSTOMERS!

My camera NEVER records. They will reset it and it stops again within a few days. My neighbors central air was stolen and it should have been caught on video. I am ready to cancel service and install my own.

Customer service is the worst, outsourced to India and they speak horrible English but surprisingly have names like Michael, Eric or Steven!! The whole entire reason I cancelled is because of the sorry customer service. Hey AT&T, do yourself a favor and hire English speaking reps in the USA because these people in India and Africa aren't doing you any favors! ADT here we come!!

The mobile application to arm, disarm and pay my bill never worked for me nor my wife. The customer service always spoke broken english making the resolution of problems impossible. This service never performed to our expectations and we canceled the service. They are suing us for excess of $800 in fees. Stay away from this company. It is a non performer and a fraud.

I called to cancel my service and basically was told I could not cancel until my billing cycle on ended on the 20th. Also, I paid before my bill was due abs they did they were not returning my money. Their service is not great and the equipment is faulty! Beware and stay away!!!!

I will have fulfilled my 2 year contract at the end of this month. I called to cancel monitoring and was told all my equipment will be rendered unusable including the door chimes and my keyless entry. This was not the case when I was with ADT and even though they offered to lower my bill considerably I’m not impressed. It was never the monitoring I signed up for exclusively but the equipment and Installation. I’m disappointed I will have to uninstall my door knob and should have bought my own equipment and paid someone to install. Hard lesson learned.

We bought a house that had ATT digital life installed in it. We don’t want the service. We hit a bottom because the alarm was beeping. Then it started a alarm. We called the company and they can not call the previous owners to see if they sold the house and to help us shut it off. The company is not very good at customer service. They can’t do anything.

I had the service since for 4 years. The security it provides is good and the user app is great yet the Service tech are not as much. Three times I've had maintenance only to be left with sensors that need batteries less than a week later. The last two years I've been given a discount every time I called to cancel. I try them again and the same thing. Recently I was told that it was my responsibility to buy the batteries. The other issue is the petty fee for each component on top of the fact that none of the equipment can be installed by the user. it's a cool system but the people maintaining it need more training.

Constant network/bug issues. Cannot understand customer service reps. They are just instructed on wha to say....no worries. App configuration is just to much. To technical to set up system and operate. Alarm is not loud enough when sounding.

Literally the worst. Was not installed correctly after 3 times. Tried to cancel and was not able. I'll be writing a review on every site possible warning people not to use this. Their Jamaican customer service reps are awful but they have fun accents.

I just purchased my equipment and installed the service last July and now I am moving; they want to charge me $500 to move my equipment. I have always had AT&T services, I love their wireless plans but this is a ridiculous thing to charge customers to basically double charge customers for their equipment. I would rather pay the cancelation fee and not give Digital Life another dime.

I have never been through such a mess in my life it is a nightmare. How do I settle up no account, I just want a final printed bill since the amount changes all the time.

Absolutely the worst of everything. Supposed to transfer service to me. Their customer service reps waste your time, disrespect you and lie. They never managed to initiate services in my name and decided to start billing me anyway. They did not have any legal right to do so since they did not get a signed service agreement from me. I've been told multiple times that all charges have been removed and the account that was never active in the first place has been "cancelled". I have wasted countless hours on hold with them for nothing. Their reps truly seem to enjoy enfuriating customers. Do not waste your money, time, or energy on this useless company

After three years and having a contract that states in no uncertain terms that “AT&T will move equipment at no additional charge with a new two year contract. It’s a lie. They changed the rules and now refuse to honor what was in writing on their web site and my contract. That free reinstall was part of their printed hype and advertising for DigitalLife. They say they know they lied but too bad. They want me to pay $850 for a new system just to move 23 miles. Liars and thieves. I believe they want “out” of the security business. Plus when you call you speak to “far away foreign lands” and you cannot understand a word they are trying to say. Plus they have no real knowledge of the systems and product. STAY AWAY. I WASTED $$$$$.

Workers stole a front door sensor. We called AT&T digital life to send us a new sensor. After four days that we did not receive the sensor we called AT&T digital life. They told us that we will get it the next day. When we did not receive the sensor the next day, we called Digital life again. We got the same answer that we will received the sensor the next day. For 10 days we had the same answer from Digital Life. After ten days somebody in Digital life told us that the SENSOR WAS NEVER ORDERED. Therefore another sensor "was ordered" and we got an order number. After a week we called again asking about the sensor, nobody knew what we were talking about. We even talked to a " supervisor ". She said that we will get an email confirming that the sensor was ordered. We NEVER GOT ANY EMAIL. Finally on May 3rd we canceled the service. On May 5th, we called to verified the cancellation of the service. The representative didn't know anything. After we gave him the suppose cancellation # 208039356 he told us that it is going to be cancel on the 9th. When it is suppose to be already canceled, effective the May 3rd.

I called one month ago and was canceled the services and was told everything was taken care of. Two days ago i got a call stating my service was not able to be canceled and I owed $390.00 dollars and called me a liar. I called back the next day and was told I did not have an account with att security. i am very unhappy and will file a complaint with the BBB.

I’ve had nothing but problems with my Digital life system. They made promises they never fulfilled including reimbursements for time that my alarm was not working (3 MONTHS) because their technicians had no clue what they were doing. Their “customer service” treats you like trash, and they do not document their conversations with customers properly so they never know what you’ve already discussed with them. It’s impossible to speak with anyone higher than a supervisor, and the supervisors are worthless. They’re nothing but empty promises and broken products.

Billing is another story they ding you for their system not getting payment update even if it is through electronic bank payment system and verified by your bank that your payment was take out. BE WISE chose something else Simpie safe, FrontPoint, Protect America HIGLY SUGGEST TO CONSIDER OTHER

Online service makes simple operations like changing a battery frustrating and time consuming. Hard to get service and using the chat feature is seldom better. The website is hard to find. When I was actually able to access someone to help, they were thorough and helpful but it was hard to access someone. Support hours very limited - no evenings or weekends. Local ATT store (which sold me the system) cannot/will not assist. When I called to cancel, I was offered a 50% discount on monthly fee and a free digital door lock. By that time I had activated a replacement service. When I asked to have a technician remove the equipment I was told it was my problem as I owned the equipment. Service was shut off immediately but they are still billing me.

I've had the worst experience with Digital Life so sickening all the promises and nothing gets done. From all my problems with my bill I wanted to cancel the alarm system so they agreed to waive all my fees and charge me 19.99 a month for life they said after taxes that will be my price. For almost a year I paid 24.05 and I just let it be, now it went up to 29.48 and I called to cancel and they are promising more of what they don't do. I chose to cancel it and I went 2 or 3 days pass the billing cycle so they said they don't do partial months or payments so they are charging me $59 and change lol. If I stay with them they will waive all the fees but because I want to cancel they are trying to charge me 2 months when I only went over 2 or 3 days on the billing cycle. Unbelievable, its the principle more then anything. Stop lying to keep customers and cheating people out their hard earn money. Its alright though you burn me for the last time and hopefully this review helps someone from getting burned too.

We had AT&T for over two years during that time we had multiple issues with our service every time we would call they told us we had to fix it personally. Then when we got frustrated enough with their service and their lack of customer service we called to cancel we spent over 40 minutes on the phone being transferred to multiple departments the first time they continue to tell us all the specials they could give us we declined many times we were told it was canceled and We did not have another bill. In the mail a week later came a bill for a full month of service after another 35 minute phone calls and multiple transfers we were told that our cancellation was completed but a date for the future was set as the cancellation date and that they could change our cancellation for the current day But we would be responsible for prorated charges. In a business as large as this customer service should be a priority however over $20 they have not only lost a customer for life but I will make sure to tell all of my clients and friends how poor their customer service and quality of service is

I am a retiree of Bellsouth now ATT and thought I would remain loyal, Idon't recommend Digital Life because I had a few alarms doing a 4 year period and never got a call or a policeman to show up, The cancellation policy sucks. They want you to pay a full month if you cancei lwithin the billing cycle. :: On March 11, 2019 I had ADT come out and install equipment. of course when he took the Digital Life equipment off it went into alarm mode. I never got a call. So on Monday the 11th, I called and cancelled Digilal Life. Today I get a call saying I owe 39.99. mention my contract says so. #1 after all this time I should not have a contract. 2. I cancelled 2 days after billing closed. After going round and round finally got a supv. to reduce charge to $20.00 Like most customer service in ATT, they are located in another country and are like robots reading a log. I would never use them again.

Important door sensors crapped out. Was told they would arrive 3-5 business days (by Friday). Called to follow up. Was told on back-order. Waited 25 minutes for supervisor. Then asked AGAIN for verification including SSN. I hung up. Called on weekday hoping to get someone in US - no such luck. Waited 30 minutes for supervisor. Hung up. Called again - was told order cancelled because it was on back-order. Though provided UPS tracking number but still cancelled. TRYING to find the local office that dispatched for new service. Have appointment that hopefully tech has what I need. I’ll be cancelling my service if they don’t have sensor. In meantime, 2 important doors of 4 are off-line & un-protected. Why should I pay for service?
