I just cancelled my subscription with them after 2 plus years- They were the worse from day one. Nothing but problems- Got caught into a "bundled" deal, with "reward visa" (never received), poor installation, and the rest added up. Equipment wouldn't work, "we'll send a tech out", never showed up- keypad failed, and unable to disarm with the code (it would not recognize the XXXXX code we used. Had to use the APP, and when that wouldn't work, was 2-3 times that they called me 4 min or so in the house as we could not shut the system off. Support was overseas or "south of the border". A distaste for me from any company Called me 6 weeks plus after my batteries were bad on devices to inform me. Told them "I know" At 12$ a pop, I wasn't sure if i was going to keep them. )And I didn't) Window sensors were put on lazily (same with doors), had to readjust myself. And final straw that said enough- Smoke detector went off from microwave food... It was maybe 4-5 minutes before ATT called to make sure things were ok. By this time, they had notified the fire department, and couldn't stop the alarm. This was the worse- at 65$ a month for 2 year contract- It was terrible. Can't say much more for rest of company either for TV services. New system installed- Not cheapest- but GOOD system- reliable- and local support with favorable ratings. Now sure how anyone can give this 4.7 stars. ZERO is mine- I would have given it a 2-3 had I received that "reward card of 200$ I think".

I have had this service for several years. Haven't switched because I haven't had the time to research the one I want to switch to. By far, this is the WORST company I have ever done business with. I have even questioned if the 24 hour monitoring is actually occurring. I allowed the alarm to continue past the time allowed to deactivate but stopped before police would be dispatched but never got a call. The customer service is even worse. At one time the calls were routed to the Caribbean and you were on hold for over an hour. It seems that the calls are still routed overseas and obviously customer service is viewed differently there. The website is awkward. I am now beyond my contract and I am going to discontinue with this company within the next 60 days. Just trying to make arrangements with one of their competitors to make the switch and get the service started to avoid disruption of service. PLEASE... do yourself a favor and bypass this company!!! Prevention is better than cure. There are too many other companies out there that understand that customer service is as important as the product.

AT&T Digital Life have the WORST service and customer service ever. This company should be investigated for trying to charge $549.00 and $349.00 just to transfer the services. What they don't tell you when you try to transfer or move services is you're buying new equipment and trapping you into another 2 year contract yet their Non-English talking phone representatives claim that's how much it cost to transfer services. Not even the real security alarm companies like ADT, VIVINT, ETC charge that ridiculous price to transfer services. Several companies i called including ADT and VIVINT all laughed and said Digital Life shouldn't be in the alarm business anyway LMAO. Don't walk run like hell from AT&T Digital Life.

I loved AT&T Digital Life until I got ready to move. I called Digital Life to move my service and found out to move my service, I had to buy a brand new system (over $350.00 plus $39.00 a month monitoring) and uninstall my old system at my current apartment myself. So the system I paid over $500.00 for and over $30.00 a month for over 3 years is no longer any good to me. Other company's came to uninstall your current system and then reinstall your current system in your new location. I currently have AT&T cell service (Over 15 yrs), AT&T U-verse (Over 3 years) and AT&T Digital Life (Over 3 years). I am going to rethink all of my services now and change them to other providers.

I wouldn't recommend this security company to anyone. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They place you on hold for endless amounts of time.....and all customer support calls are outsourced to a foreign country and the representatives are very difficult to understand. If you want to speak to a representative in the US you have to wait for a callback in 24 hours...this is the absolute worst company in customer service. Very dissatisfied and am in the process of TRYING to cancel.....but that also seems like a hard thing to do

I had to terminate early due to the sale of my home we moved out of the area, From Memphis Tn to Massena Ny, Federal trade doesn't allow AT&T to operate up here, they sent me to collections for a bill I do not owe! my credit is destroyed! I have been hung up on I lost the house I was trying to purchase and my rent was increased due to my bad credit rating. Way to go AT&T screwing over disabled senior vets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Early termination fees when your moving out of the service area really? I hope you go down just like SEARS!

I have had this service for years, and recently they had to send a technician out for all of my devices going offline. I tried to troubleshoot with the representative, but I kept telling her I was not seeing the device where she was saying it was. She said she would send someone but there could be a fee involved. I told her upfront I was not willing to pay a fee when I have a real technical issue that can't be resolved on the phone. The technician came out and could not locate the equipment either, we finally found it in the 2nd floor hallway when it was labeled by the installer as being in my living room. It took him over two hours to fix all the issues, and he let me know that I would not of been able to fix issue over the phone since almost all of my devices were offline and I should not occur charges for the visit. I was still charged the $100 and customer service refused to help me with the issue, refused to contact the technician or the third-party company he works for, and implied that I was not being truthful. Luckily I had the technicians cell phone number from when he called to confirm. I called him, he agreed it was all a mistake and now he is working to try and get it correct for me. He DOES NOT work for Digital Life, but he is willing to try and get this fixed. Also the supervisor and Digital Life was not helpful or polite, but she was willing to cancel my service if I would like?? REALLY??? This is the type of service you offer?? I am shopping for a new provider!

Terrible customer service. I'm still trying to figure out how to find a person who can help me with my problem. I cancelled my service but they keep sending me bills and claim I didn't cancel. I see in some other reviews they've done this to others.

I had an emergency needed medical couldnt find my phone, opened the door so the alarm would sound, and used the key pad to alert and have medical respond...nothing ..no call from the company. The next day I called to complain they stated no alarm was triggered. Total BS...do not trust your family's safety to this company. You will be sorry.

System is outdated and the customer service is horrible. If you try to cancel they will not update your account ,and try to get a couple more payments out of you even if it's after the contract has ended. My advice is to run far away from this company.

Have subscribed to this service for 4 years. Have never liked the service since beginning. Although I am electronically adept, I have never been able to program the thermostat. It has always been difficult to communicate with customer service. I have ordered replacement parts several times before finally receiving them. Recently two orders for door sensors stickers have gone infilled. They have refused to provide a service call, without paying a 100 fee. I am in the process of replacing the service.

This company treats their customers badly after almost eight years with it I need to move out and they want to charge me about $300 for moving out to do a new contract check my credit when I made direct payment with them if you disconnect they want to charge you about $500 For new customers When other companies as a new customer offer you the same thing but free to check before making a contract with this company please

I f you are looking to have ATT Digital life as your provider I suggest you do not, They have the worst service and the customer service is even worst. Don't even bother writing to the Office of the Predisent, the representatives are even nastier and i=unfriendly than dialing the 800 number... you are wasting your time in talking to them. I had excellent service and great customer service before and that is why I selected them when I moved.. Well that was a nightmare .. false selliing tactics.. did not receive what I was told I would receive.. The set u was horrible had to inconvenience myself by having the tech come out about four times before everything was hooked up, and then it still was not done.. Was on the phone for over 2 hours to try to get it set up correctly.. When I say a nighmare .. so take my advice go somewhere else. If there was a rating on here and it had negative 100 that is what I would score them.

The Manager is just too smart to hold a conversation with me. I asked a simple question 3 times and she found 3 different ways to avoid it and answer a different question. Guess I’ll just have to find another security company that’s half the price and has better service. What a hassle..

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JOKERS -- We had ADT for years and my wife got sold on packaging our home security with ATT wireless and DirectTV service, so that we'd bundle and save. The initial installation went well and the system seemed to be working for a couple of years, after which all of the batteries started failing. One day I got a call from ATT Digital Life telling me that there was a problem with one of my fire detectors. After replacing the battery and trying to troubleshoot with tech support they sent a technician out (stating that if it wasn't a failed unit I'd have to pay the service fee). The technician came out and told me that not only had the detector failed but that there had never been proper fire detection because there was only 1 detector in the basement of a 5-level house (all of the other detectors were the old ADT detectors). Now they want to charge me the 2 services calls for coming out and fixing a system that was never working in the first place. Even when I cancelled they still say that I owe them $. SCAM!!!

I had the service for 3 years and 6 months paying $64.00 a month. They never lower my monthly payment, after I complete the 2 years contract. Very poor quality of the equipment. When I called them to disconnect the service because, I got a better company, better service and better equipment & payment, they offered a lower payment. I told them, I do not want your service anymore. I asked them to disconnect the service the next day in the morning and they did it right away after I called , leaving my family without protection until the next day that I got my new alarm company service. My payment was current and when I called them back to tell them I ask you to disconnect the service tomorrow. The told me if they connect my service back I had to pay an extra month even though it was their wrongdoing. I told them no THANK YOU FOR YOUR BAD SERVICE.. ATT DO NOT CARE FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR GOOD CUSTOMERS!

My camera NEVER records. They will reset it and it stops again within a few days. My neighbors central air was stolen and it should have been caught on video. I am ready to cancel service and install my own.

Customer service is the worst, outsourced to India and they speak horrible English but surprisingly have names like Michael, Eric or Steven!! The whole entire reason I cancelled is because of the sorry customer service. Hey AT&T, do yourself a favor and hire English speaking reps in the USA because these people in India and Africa aren't doing you any favors! ADT here we come!!

The mobile application to arm, disarm and pay my bill never worked for me nor my wife. The customer service always spoke broken english making the resolution of problems impossible. This service never performed to our expectations and we canceled the service. They are suing us for excess of $800 in fees. Stay away from this company. It is a non performer and a fraud.

I called to cancel my service and basically was told I could not cancel until my billing cycle on ended on the 20th. Also, I paid before my bill was due abs they did they were not returning my money. Their service is not great and the equipment is faulty! Beware and stay away!!!!

I will have fulfilled my 2 year contract at the end of this month. I called to cancel monitoring and was told all my equipment will be rendered unusable including the door chimes and my keyless entry. This was not the case when I was with ADT and even though they offered to lower my bill considerably I’m not impressed. It was never the monitoring I signed up for exclusively but the equipment and Installation. I’m disappointed I will have to uninstall my door knob and should have bought my own equipment and paid someone to install. Hard lesson learned.

We bought a house that had ATT digital life installed in it. We don’t want the service. We hit a bottom because the alarm was beeping. Then it started a alarm. We called the company and they can not call the previous owners to see if they sold the house and to help us shut it off. The company is not very good at customer service. They can’t do anything.

I had the service since for 4 years. The security it provides is good and the user app is great yet the Service tech are not as much. Three times I've had maintenance only to be left with sensors that need batteries less than a week later. The last two years I've been given a discount every time I called to cancel. I try them again and the same thing. Recently I was told that it was my responsibility to buy the batteries. The other issue is the petty fee for each component on top of the fact that none of the equipment can be installed by the user. it's a cool system but the people maintaining it need more training.

Constant network/bug issues. Cannot understand customer service reps. They are just instructed on wha to say....no worries. App configuration is just to much. To technical to set up system and operate. Alarm is not loud enough when sounding.
