    Drew installed and explained our system operation as he went along. He was very knowledgeable and patiently clarified all the questions we asked. His easy going pace and temperament made the process a very pleasant experience. He is due to return with a set of smaller size, less visible magnets for the casement windows, and we look forward to seeing him again.

    I have called 9 times over the past week and a half asking your representative Candice to forward me a copy of her quote to me and it hasn’t been received. I have asked her to return my calls all to no avail. on the 25th of october

    Very satisfied from start to finish. Josh C. was our installer. Explained the installation start to finish. Went over how the system worked. Josh was very professional and courteous. Josh arrived at the appointed time and worked until the security system was completed and working.

    Safestreets USA is horrible. RUN!!! When they come to your door. We cancelled within 3 days and they failed to come get their equipment or give us a refund after 60 days. We contacted them as per their contract we were supposed to get a refund within 10 days rand their their stuff out of our house within 20 days. They failed on both and charged our credit card the next month yet again.

    They harassed us for months. We contacted the attorney general’s office to resolve our issue. ADT even filed a complaint against them as they have been so unprofessional. They broke ADT’s own contract. RUN PEOPLE!!!!

    Their reps lie. Their equipment is inferior in every way to what ADT provides directly. Cancelling their contract within the 3-day period required 6 hours on the phone with a dozen reps.

    We were with ADT for 7 years before SafeStreets began to call us with unsolicited offers. SafeStreets agents misrepresented themselves as ADT representatives, said that we had to upgrade to Pulse to renew our contract with ADT, and said there would be no charge for upgrading our entire system.

    Turns out we would have had to pay $250 for a new keypad, and sensor ‘upgrades’ would have cost an additional $600. We were ultimately told the sensors did not have to be upgraded. The ‘better’ panel and keypad were inferior than our old stuff in every way — less convenient to use, required much more time to do anything, were missing basic functions like one-touch arming, and were otherwise awful.

    SafeStreets reps said they could remove the new crud they installed, but refused to re-install the better old panel and keypad that they had been perfectly capable of programming and removing. ADT couldn’t decide whether they would re-install the old panel for free with a 3-year contract, or if we had to pay $500 for a ‘new’ panel, even though our old panel was working just fine just 2 days prior.

    Cancelling their contract was also a giant pain. It takes them 14 days just to confirm that they received a cancellation fax. None of their reps have any idea when they stop charging for monitoring. Expect to spend up to 6 hours total on the phone if you want to cancel.

    Avoid.

    The worst!

    -incorrect installment of glassbreak monitors so someone had to come back to fix it
    -advised me that ADT no longer has a duress feature which they do so had I not been suspicious and called ADT I would have not known how to use an ESSENTIAL feature of the alarm
    -took payment for a $30 fee for alarm registration with my state police dept and never handed it in (which had I not caught it would have resulted in fees and nonresponse from the police (the very reason I got the alarm!)
    -when I caught the mistake with the fee someone assured me they would call me back but of course they did not so I had to call again
    -ordered the water alarm monitor months ago and then 5 minutes before the installation appointment called to say they never ordered it and would have to reschedule. When I demanded they look harder they said they’d call back and it’s been about half hour and still no call back.

    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

    Someone broke into my car 6/27 didn’t have footage between 12:01-4:34am to show the police officer. ADT couldn’t tell me why! I’m not happy with this service. I only had it for a little over a month. And the same thing happens on tonight NO FOOTAGE!

    I called for cancellation of service on end of May. Cancellation department said they need charge $800 if I paid it TODAY. I gave the credit card information and agreed to charge it as the penalty. Next day I found my account online it has not canceled that they are not able to CANCEL my account, and asked me to write letter to ADT Corp to cancel account.
    I got service charge on June after I mailed cancellation letter. Safestreet told me they will refund the portion and follow up with me on cancellation processing on first week of June.

    NO RETURNING CALL, NO FOLLOW UP, NO CANCELLATION, BUT CHARGE MONTHLY FEE $51.99

    After half month passed, I call again (because no one take care of it) …
    Cancellaiton department told me that they will charge $800 if I paid it TODAY!!!
    They said exactly same thing on May and charged $51.99 on June (after I canceled service.)

    The agent, Jim won’t let me talk to previous agent who handled my case (and she sits next by him) … Jim also won’t let me talk, because he want to talk (ask for $800) but can’t deliver result. Jim force me to pay $800 TODAY to cancel.
    I said last month $800 was penalty amount as May, and I paid $51.99 extra on June
    … then Jim QUESTIONED me “do you want to cancel it or not TODAY? ($800 and TODAY ONLY) otherwise GOODBYE!”

    HOW LONG IT NEEDS TO CANCEL AN ACCOUNT WITH CREDIT CARD INFO TO PAY PENALTY AND CONTINUING CHARGE MONTHLY SERVICE FEE?
    SAFESTREET CAN NOT HANDLE A SIMPLE THING, WE ARE TOTALLY UNSATISFIED SAFESTREET’S SERVICE? NEVER EVER RECOMMAND THIS COMPANY.

    They installed an ADT security system that never worked properly. Despite my complaints they never fixed the issue and continually wanted to send out a tech, at my expense of course, even though their tech never installed the system properly in the first place. I repeat, it NEVER WORKED.

    In fairness to the company upon first contact my girlfriend and I were very pleased with the installation and setup of our system. The people we have interacted with in person are top notch and don’t deserve to be associated with the conduct of Safe Streets USA and ADT as a whole.

    Once the ink dries on your contract you will find any interaction with either company to be convoluted and confusing. Leaving you equal parts unsatisfied and frustrated. It took us a full month to have a problem resolved with our panel that the tech that came on site explained could have been handled over the phone. Every contact leaves you getting bounced between the two companies that only unite in their apathetic approach to dealing with there customers.

    The final straw in our short story comes with the sale of our house. We informed both companies that we will need to break our contact as we do not have a location where the system is allowable and our buyer is not interested in taking over the contract. Not looking for a complete forgiveness but only to come to a fair resolution for both parties involved. Both companies came back with a figure over 1,000 dollars to terminate the contract. When my girlfriend voice her concern with that number she was meet with a dead-end and no offer of solution aside from paying or transfer. I myself reach out after her fruitless attempts only to share in the same frustration. The story is as follows Safe Street Blames ADT and ADT clams to have no control over their contractors. So as a young couple just starting out we face spending over $1000 on …………..well nothing! The company we pay to watch over us is willing to take money for us for no service rendered contact or not feels like being taken advantage of. Just say it out loud. YOU GIVE ME 1000 DOLLARS AND IN RETURN I WILL LET YOU OUT OF A CONTRACT. FOR A SERVICE YOU NO LONGER NEED AND WILL NOT BE USEING. THANK YOU for calling!

    In closing I know a contract was signed, but in a time where you can buy everything on the internet at cut throat prices, customer service should be priority one of companies trying to stay relevant. Safe Streets USA and ADT fall far short in my experience. My advice to anyone looking for an alarm system is to look elsewhere. The only reason these companies can employ such strong arm tactics and contracts that only serve themselves is because we as consumers allow it. Somewhere out there is a simple to install highly effective system in which you are not locked in to a long term contract just to have the basic comfort of security. I would go as far as to settle for a company that cares more about their customer base than sales numbers. We will most likely lose our money in this one. I only hope to save whoever takes the time to read this review the same fate. If you life changes in the three years don’t expect these companies to be on your side.

    HORRIBLE !! They came to install ADT PULSE and the tech SHUT OFF our AUDIABLE alarm! AND ADDED a DELAY. It took 5 mins before the system registered that the alarm had been tripped!! We have been trying for 3 hours to try to get them to help us and NOTHING! they say they can’t help us!!??? WTH? YOUR tech messed it up, and now you expect us to wait till tues.4 DAYS!!! How about make the person who messed it up come out and fix it??? or send someone else to fix it correctly! BEYOND ANGRY. Now this tech knows our address, the layout of our home, the contents AND that our alarm isn’t working!!!! Tried calling and the customer rep, Zack, LAUGHED at me!! Derrick V of the Columbia SC area is who messed everything up BE WARNED.. STAY AWAY from this company. We actually have ADT and this sorry excuse for a “security” company is contracted with them. REFUSE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

    Our Installer was Nicholas A and he was very nice and professional. He explained everything to my wife and I. On the other people’s review I read that the promotion of giving $100.00 on a visa was a scam. I hope they are wrong so I am expecting ADT to honor that promise, So far we are happy with ADT and Nicholas for a job well done.

    I was promised a rebate after 3 months. I’ve called for 2 straight months to only get the run around. They promise you something and then don’t deliver. In the mean time you are locked into a contract that you can’t get out of without paying thousands.
    So be very wary of their sales teams. Shady liars.
    Not to mention the installer stapled the wires across the middle of our walls and now we have to pay someone to fix the damage he did.

    These people will rob you blind, they will take more money from you than the crooks robbing your house. When you call customer service they cannot even explain your bill. Then they refuse to connect you with billing. Instead they tell you billing will call you back, but could not even say if that would be in the next three days. Remember ADT subs out there work,. instead of having there own technicians. I came home from vacation to find my house had been robbed to the tune of about $4000. I had to leave town for work in four days. In a panic I called ADT, who sent out Safe street USA The time they and ATD were done with me I was out almost another $4000. Whatever you do don’t let them no you were just robbed .It;s like yelling take my money.
