As a nationally ranked security company by Security Dealers Magazine, WWS provides professional crime and fire protection to Nassau and Suffolk Counties and Metro New York. With a local-minded business strategy, WWS runs a UL-listed central monitoring station, which means that their 24/hr monitoring services are handled at a local level. This is also accompanied by a trained staff of technicians that are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Between the strong community presence and the usage of top-notch technology, WWS has established themselves as a leader in home security for the New York metropolitan area.
Common among many nationally recognized home security systems is a 2-3 year contract. However, WWS requires a 5-year contract. This locks in customers for a much longer time period than most other companies. This problem is compounded by the fact that they only provide a one year warranty on their equipment. Customers can add on extended warranty protection that goes beyond the one year, but it increases the monthly payments, and at $40/mo you are already paying more than what many other companies charge.
WWS & GC Alarm Inc. is a well-known name in home security for the New York metro area and is currently serving over 14,000 customers. If you are interested in WorldWide Security, you will be with them for at least a 5 year period and pay extra up front for the equipment them. We recommend using a less expensive home security company that you don't need to pay a lot upfront: Protect America or Frontpoint.

BUYER BEWARE. DONT USE WORLDWIDE. After being a customer for around 10 years I needed to cancel service. Having just paid my bill for the coming year, I contacted worldwide for a refund. I was shocked that they said this is not their policy and no refund for services not rendered would be issued. Additionally I was told this would be escalated to a manager and I would be called back. I never received any callback and subsequent attempts to reach out them have been ignored. This company does not care about its customers. Buyer beware of working with worldwide security.

I am so unhappy with there service. They have not be able to provide me with a reliable service. There have been so many faulty calls made to the police because of their faulty system we have been billed thousands of dollars by the county because of there systems issues. Once you get fed up with there product and services you will not be able to get a competent individual on the line to address your problems either. I have lost count of the amount of service calls we have had yet they cant figure out whats going on. I suggest you stay as far away as possible. Thank god we have an additional alarm system here!
