  • Contract and Cancellation: Alarm Grid explicitly states it will not lock customers into contracts. This no-contract policy is quite unique in the home security industry and provides customers with a low-risk alternative to major companies. And because Alarm Grid features no long-term contracts, customers will not need to worry about the hefty cancellation fees – in which they would need to pay up to hundreds of dollars towards the remaining balance. Although customers should note the 30-day return policy on equipment purchased.
  • Monitoring: Alarm Grid provides a number of flexible monitoring options for every budget and preference. Alarm Grid has monitoring plans that start at just $10/month and increase depending on what a homeowner wants out of their system.
  • System Financing: Alarm Grid has a unique partnership with Affirm which provides its customers who bought equipment an opportunity to finance their systems. The approval process is instant; allowing individuals with no credit score to get a 3, 6, 12-month loan to help pay for their system.
  • Equipment Costs: While Alarm Grid customers pay nothing in terms of activation or installation costs, they will be required to pay for all their equipment and sensors upfront, which can be hundreds of dollars even for a basic monitoring system. Other home security companies have successfully absorbed the cost of the equipment into their monthly fees, allowing customers to pay for the equipment over time.
  • Self-Monitoring: Although self-monitoring is an effective way to reduce your monthly monitoring costs, it also presents some inherent risks. Customers who choose this option will be required to contact the authorities themselves, even if they receive an alert in the middle of the night or far from home. If customers are asleep or otherwise away from their phone or computer, several minutes can transpire before authorities are contacted.
  • Our Recommendation: While obviously an affordable option, Alarm Grid isn’t necessarily the most reliable requiring so much of the homeowner to deal with on their own. For those who want 24/7 professional monitoring, Protect America and Frontpoint are viable options.

    Setting up monitoring services with Alarm Grid was very easy. Unlike local service companies, no onsite visit was required, and the entire activation process took well under an hour.     I have been with a different service for 10 years and have never felt as if I had the level of care as I got from Alarm Grid. The other guys wanted $600.00 to upgrade to 4G backup and I would not own the hardware plus 2x the monthly fee. Alarm Grid told me what to buy for the upgrade and that I could buy it anywhere it cost me $280.00 and Alarm Grid (Jorge) remotely programmed it in less than an hour after I installed the new board and communicator.     After searching online for a company that I could monitor myself with, I chose Alarm Grid. The idea was to connect with a company that would give me what I asked for without trying to upgrade or change my choice of service. The technician was polite, informative and explained things with correct verbiage. My system was up and running in just a few minutes and I could start monitoring and controlling my system instantly. This is why I chose Alarm Grid and I am pleased to have chosen them.

    Been with Alarm Grid for about 2 months now. Setting up the getting everything set up took about 30 minutes. I have the L5200 with Wifi and have been ay dding sensors here and there and they have been very helpful. I accidentally set off a panic button and the monitoring center called in a matter of seconds. The monitoring fee is very reasonable. Everything when dealing with this company has been positive. I had purchased an Alarm Grid sign on their website. Sterling emailed me stating that he was crediting my card back and mailing out the sign free of charge. I received it a couple days later and it was a pretty sturdy sign too. It’s the little things that matter!

    I’ve been with AlarmGrid now for over a year and recently upgraded my communicator. They made the process simple from the scheduling to the support provided all the way through the install and activiation. From the wealth of information on the website to the knowledge shared during the install, these guys know their stuff. The overall customer experience everytime I have a question or have an appoitment with them has been exceptional!

    I used my old Honeywell Vista system, and the total cost was only $15.00. Nothing extra added on, nobody tried to hit me up for extra $ or services. Everything is handled over the phone; I liked it better than waiting days for a service technician like I have in the past.
    I did a lot of research and I did find cheaper companies, but I did not want to get wrapped up in another contract for 3 years. You know the ones-if you do not write a letter (certified US mail) canceling the contract within 30 days before your 3 years is up, you are STUCK in another 3 year contact (that might increase $). And, you have to pay a full year in advance to get the cheaper price!
    With Alarm Grid there is no contract,just 15 bucks a month. I pay my home insurance once a year and I saved around $400 on my home insurance also, so I am making money by using Alarm Grid. If I could rate them higher I would. Ann

    Every review is a 10. As a DIY alarm guy for 15 yrs, First panel was a Vista 20 SE, There is NO comparison . Customer service is Instant , Dont even need to call. Lynx Touch L7000, 24 zones, Z-wave with automation. I own all my equipment. Every Window , Every door, 2 smoke detectors , 3 glass-breaks, 4 motions, 3 remotes…. Ill just say Easy to install , Easy to pay , No contacts , No interest , No service calls , Full control from any Pc , tablet , phone . Big box price 3K..

    Where do I start.

    Alarm Grid is the company I have always dreamed of. They are a DIYers dream! They allow so much customization and don’t require you to have a tech come out. I switched from ADT because of their plain basic system that I had to have tech’s come out to do anything to it and they charged me $75 a visit. I couldn’t do it any longer so I found Alarm Grid. The staff has been super friendly and overly helpful with my transition to Alarm Grid and they answer any and all questions I have within a few hours at most.

    They recently branded the Total Connect site to show their logo and it make me feel that I belong with Alarm Grid. I feel free with so much flexability. If I want to add a zone I can when I want. If I want to add a Z-wave device I can do that too…I don’t remember how to do it? No problem, Sterling has done an amazing job with his Youtube video collection.

    I would definitely recommend Alarm Grid to friends and family with out thinking twice. Keep up the good work!

    Outstanding Service! Sterling walked me through every step of the process in getting my Honeywell Vista panel setup for Alarm Grid’s monitoring services. Was very patient with me after make a few fat fingered entries on my side, and walked me through correcting these issues in a very proficient manner. I am very happy I choose them as my Alarm Company, not just for the monitoring services but for their experience in the alarm industry and outstanding (prompt) customer service. I am already talking to people at work, who are thinking about switching and I would definitely recommend Alarm Grid to friends and family.

    I can not say enough about the team here at Alarm Grid. If you are DIYer and need product and technical help this is the place. These guys are thorough and thoughtful. For example I placed a call late on a Friday evening , after hours , just hoping someone would answer and understandably reached their recording. About 10 minutes later I received a call from Sterling …..this is outstanding and far and above what most companies would provide! KEEP UP THE EXCELENT SERVICE!

    I recently had a great encounter with the folks at Alarm Grid. It all started with their online chat app through which they answered many challenging questions about my daughter’s antiquated alarm system. They also directed me to User and Programming manuals for the alarm.

    They contacted me by e-mail to see if all my questions were answered because each step of this “adventure” brought more questions. The adventure was the “hands on” effort at my daughter’s house to re-set her alarm after purchasing her home. The sellers left no information on the alarm which rendered us rather helpless. BUT the folks at Alarm Grid, Sterling and Frank in particular, were relentless in their knowledgeable assistance.

    After several e-mail clarifications, Frank spent considerable time on the phone walking me through the installer and master code re-set sequences. His background and patience spoke volumes about Alarm Grid as a company. As we finished diagnosing the keypad and panel, he offered a few options to rectify my problems, and their costs.

    Never did I feel like these folks were trying to sell me something. I felt completely confident that they were sincerely interested in helping me, and, if a future sale was part of the solution, okay, if not, that was fine too.

    I value the integrity and professionalism of the folks at Alarm Grid and would use them in a second.

    Excellent customer service and technical assistance. Very helpful in customizing my system. My house had a previously installed system which I wanted to update and customize. I was guided through the maze of what components I needed and their setup without any problems. The cost is a fraction of what my local company wanted and the equipment is the same. They also provide online manuals for the various components which I find very helpful.

    AlarmGrid has been monitoring my home security system since March 2014. Their monitoring center is responsive and their staff is extremely knowledgable. I recommend AlarmGrid because their number one goal is customer service. Find another alarm company who puts people first it won’t happen.

    The staff at AlarmGrid are extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, much more reliable than my last alarm company, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a solid monitoring company. I recently ended my service with GeoArm (which I had for about 3 years), and I am glad I found Sterling and AlarmGrid. The difference between these two companies’ customer service philosophies is drastic, AlarmGrid being world’s above the GeoArm in every respect. Sterling, Josh, Frank, and generally the whole staff at AlarmGrid is always willing to go above and beyond. Simple tech support questions are answered quickly. In contrast, my previous alarm company required me to make an appointment they would probably miss anyway. Also I always felt that for simple requests, I should be able to shoot a quick email and ask for help. AlarmGrid is always willing to accommodate. I recommend AlarmGrid highly; I’m very happy that I finally have people I can rely on handling our alarm.

    Alarm Grid is an outstanding company with a dedicated group of people that give support and great customer service!

    After purchasing my new home, I decided to install my own alarm system because the products out there by the “big” alarm monitoring companies were too expensive and the monitoring $$$ was out of control! Also, I thought it would be fun to do it myself. :) I had no experience but after many many hours of research found Alarm Grid and the perfect alarm system! I can’t express how happy I am to have found them.

    Sterling (the owner) has published how to videos on youtube that enhance the installation experience. Along side of that any time I’ve reached out to him for assistance he responds immediately. They also offer a top rated alarm monitoring company that is reasonably priced.

    I can’t say enough good things about the people and service at Alarm Grid. Upon deciding we wanted to outfit our home with an alarm, I started making phone calls (starting with the “major” companies) and soon found that they seemed more interested in making a buck than truly answering my questions and concerns. I’m the type of person who likes to know exactly what I’m buying and like to do research comparing all my options. After being disenchanted with a few of the larger companies, I started to do research on a self-install. Almost all of my google searches brought me to an article on Alarm Grid’s website or a video on their YouTube channel. These articles helped me immensely in deciding the equipment I would need and the videos gave me a sense of comfort that I could install the system myself.

    After my research was done, I decided to give Alarm Grid a call to make sure I was going in the right direction. I spoke with Sterling and Frank numerous times and never once did they rush me off the phone or pressure me to buy the hardware or service from them. It seemed like they were truly interested in helping me get my questions answered. From there I decided to buy most of my equipment from them as the prices were competitve. I also ended up getting my monthly monitoring through them as they do not require a contract (the only place I found that doens’t have a contract) and I felt confident that if anything went wrong, they would be able to provide the support to help me fix any issues I encountered.

    After odering the hardware, I started the install. I purchased the Honeywell Lynx 5100 and a few wireless sensors to go along with them and the install was super easy. I had existing wired sensors in my home already and purchased a wired to wireless conversion module so I would still be able to use a portion of my existing system (and save $ on having to buy new door/window sensors). I got stuck a few times on the install and every single time I called, either Sterling or Frank were able to perfectly troubleshoot the issue.

    I’ve now had monitoring for a few months and have had zero issues. Total Connect is an awesome service, I can basically manage my alarm over the internet, get alerts to my phone and email whenever there’s been a breach, and can arm and disarm my system from my phone. It’s super convenient and very well priced in my opinion.

    I don’t normally take the time to write reviews of any company. But in this case, I felt that I received such exceptional service and that Alarm Grid truly stands out from it’s competitors. I did a ton of research, talked to a ton of different companies, which led to a ton of frustration. It wasn’t until I found Alarm Grid that the pieces came together. My brother had the same exact experience with them and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending their services to any of my friends or family.

    Alarm Grid is a very personable company. I am a DIYer and was having an issue with my alarm system purchased elsewhere. I called Alarm Grid for advise before realizing I had already fixed problem and hung up the phone after getting a message that they would call me back next business day.     Moving from a home that I hardwired during construction and equipped with an OmniPro system, to a completed home with no system worried me. I purchased the L5100 from Alarm Grid and I installed it quickly. So far so good. It’s super easy to use and understand. I recently had the Slide Show activated and just love it. Prior to purchase, while I was researching companies, every inquiry I made to Alarm Grid was answered promptly. Next I’ll begin to add automation. Wheeeee!

    If you are in the market for a new security system or monitoring I would advise you to seriously consider Alarm Grid for all of your needs. I had already installed my Honeywell security system prior to contacting them for service. The prompt and courteous customer service I received was beyond belief in this day and age. My appointment was scheduled for 7:00pm and their agent called right on time and we got to work getting me connected and online. It only took about 15 minutes from start to finish to get up and running. They may be a new company but their no contract monitoring service as well as their level of dedicated customer service leads me to believe they are going to be an industry leader in the security field!

    Totally satisfied so far! I got rid of my $35/mo analog phone line, which more than covers the cost of the alarm service. AlarmGrid helped my upgrade my antiquated Honeywell alarm panel to an internet connected panel. The Honeywell Total Connect seems pretty decent. I have total access to my alarm system via my iPad and android phone.

    ….just waiting for Honeywell’s new low cost Z-wave controller, will be add on Zwave devices (e.g. locks, lights, etc) to the Total Connect service.

    I recently purchased a new house and started researching alarm options, features, etc. As part of this research I decided to go the DIY route. After reviewing technology and hardware reviews, I decided to go with the Honeywell lynx 5100. As part of my research I happened to find Alarm Grid, and I am happy that I did. As part of my research into the Honeywell Hardware, I had questions lots of questions. I sent my questions to Alarm Grid. Each one of was answered in a timely manner. Also as part of my independent research and questions, there was some digging into monitoring. I new I wanted a UL certified company. Alarm Grid was able answer and provides me a solution for my monitoring needs. Even after the equipment was sent, I received and unsolicited call to see if there was any questions regarding the installation and configuration of the hardware. Finally, the last part of the set up was the monitoring configuration. This is where Alarm Grid shined, they walked e through the process of configuring the monitoring; in my installation I have WIFI and 4G. Not only did they assist with the setup, they review all my installed equipment, assisted with a live test, and assisted with me setting up Total Connect. If you are DIY-er Alarm Grid is a must.     Did a ton of research on home security before taking the plunge with a Honeywell Lynx L5100 for security, home automation, video surveillance. Wifi primary with GSM backup monitoring. Sterling’s videos on YouTube are so clear and simple, they make the whole process a breeze. Their responsiveness to questions and issues is phenomenal. I cannot say enough about how these guys run their business. They should teach a Harvard Business School class on customer service and how to build a loyal following as a small, service oriented business.

    Several months ago, I found myself at the end of a contract with a major nationwide alarm company. About a year before that, we bought a system from them that we found didn’t meet our needs; specifically, the interface was a touch screen, and only very basic functions of arming and disarming the system were usable either via a smart phone app or the key fob. Since both my wife and I are blind, we had to do without such features as the ability to bypass alarm zones, add or remove user codes, etc. Besides, the monthly monitoring costs were a bit more than we wanted to pay, and so we were looking for alternatives as the end of our contract loomed.

    We found another system that seemed to meet our needs: lower price, smart phone access, keypad with real buttons, audible and/or spoken confirmation of system status. Except that we’d have to replace all the sensors in our home. I, at least, would prefer avoiding that if possible.

    We then found Alarm Grid, and again, they had a system with real buttons, spoken/audible status indicators, a lower per month monitoring cost (no contract…even better), and we could use (as it turned out) most of our existing sensors. My first impression of them was extremely positive, as sterling spent a lot of time chatting with me online, exchanging Emails, and helping me put together a system that would exactly meet my needs.

    No installer? No problem. Sterling set up an appointment when I’d have someone over who had working eyeballs, and he talked the two of us through hooking up the panel and getting the initial setup started. Programming in the first door, window, and motion sensors was a snap, as was doing the initial setup of a key fob. And then we hit a snag. The alarm net Web site was completely useless with my computer software. Being blind, I use software that reads my computer screen. I use several in fact, both Mac and Windows, and the site didn’t work with any of them. Not to worry. Sterling took even more time out to set my account up for me, even programming in the extra button on my key fob and setting up a second one. So, while I might have taken points off for a pretty rotten Web site, (Alarm Grid’s site is fine, the Honeywell Alarmnet site is awful), they get points back for going way out and making things right anyway.

    So here I am, more than six months later, with an alarm system I can use independently, a company that has second to none customer service and after sales support, not to mention pre-sales support, and I’m paying about 40% less per month. Sure, i had to buy the kit for about $350, but I’ll be about even with that other alarm company’s monthly in just couple more months.

    Speaking briefly of pre-sales support, I felt absolutely no pressure at all from Sterling. I was very impressed: his aim seemed to be that I was educated. He wanted me to understand what I was getting from him and to be completely comfortable before I put down any money. That’s not something you run into very often anymore.

    Yes, I’d do business with Alarm Grid again, and they get my most enthusiastic thumbs up.

    I was so impressed with the instructional videos that Sterling from Alarm Grid put out to help people with their systems. Also, before I even signed up with Alarm Grid, their reps were extremely helpful and answered about 1000 questions I had. For these two reasons alone, I chose to use Alarm Grid for my system. Can’t say enough good things about Sterling and company. Great products, and the level of support is honestly unmatched.

    My system was a combination of self-install, a local company programing the new Honeywell 128 panel alarm system. What I really wanted was TotalConnect2; I started shopping around and had the good fortune to find AlarmGrid. I contacted them -Sterling about my needs they helped me select the right internet hardware and then spent over an hour on the phone with me helping trouble shoot an issue not related to their new hardware. Then he walked me through programing my system to connect to the internet. All was working fine, but a month later I wanted to change IP addresses and Sterling again patiently took the time to change my addresses. The BEST Customer Service I have experienced in years.

    I highly recommend using Alarm Grid. I first decided on Alarm Grid to purchase what I needed to upgrade my decommissioned hard wired alarm to a new state-of-the-art Honeywell Vista 21ip because of the excellent write-ups the website has for each component. I couldn’t find a better source of information for a first time alarm DIY project. After selecting the components I wanted I was very pleased with the quick responses I got for all of my questions, even on weekends. Alarm Grid offers a complete line of non-proprietary products at competitive prices for any type of installation or upgrade with the technical support and knowledge to make installation a breeze. Alarm Grid Monitoring supports Honeywell Total Connect 2.0, allowing me to monitor my alarm from my smartphone. I’ve found this service to be 100% reliable even if the internet is down at my house thanks to the Vista GSM4G cellular communicator. Best of all, Alarm Grid Monitoring requires no contracts so you have the option if scaling back your monthly bills if necessary. Again, I highly recommend Alarm Grid for any DIY alarm installation. upgrade, or repair.

    You get what you pay for, which is a great security company without all the pain of dealing with independent contractors and locked in hardware. I wanted a flexible, easy to use, and cheap(er) system to watch over my house. That’s exactly what I got by going DIY with Alarm Grid. Bought my non-proprietary hardware on Amazon, signed up for the Alarm Grid basic package and I was getting email alerts about my system by the time I had the last sensor placed. I’ve had large name security systems before and you have to go through them to add or remove sensors from their system. Not so with Alarm Grid and DIY, just buy what you need and set it up.

    Very impressed by Alarm Grids customer service. I had some questions regarding programming issues with my Honeywell Lynx 5100 and did some research on youtube. I came upon Alarm Grid’s- Sterlings How to videos on YouTube. These came in handy A LOT- very helpful with my DIY residential security system setup. I had some issues with my keypads setup, decided to message Alarm Grid via Facebook and was surprised to get a fast response by Sterling himself! He also took the extra step to call me directly to further assist me. Got my issue resolved and questions answered fast! I definetely recommend their services. Alarm Grid is the way to go!

    After searching for a monitoring company and becoming very disturbed by costs, installers that knew less about their equipment than the local 5th graders. I came across Alarm Grid while searching the internet. What difference!! Reasonable costs for the equipment.
    Fast shipping. Wonderful support and installation expertise. Extremely well done videos to support the installation process. All in all a 10+ experience. Highly recommended!!!!!

    Before I heard about Alarm Grid I purchased a Honeywell Lynx Touch 5100 from a different on-line home security company. Before receiving it I started to research installation instructions. I happened upon the video’s that Alarm Grid posted on YouTube. I watched them all. They were very informative and extremely helpful. I sent in a couple of questions to Alarm Grid about self-monitoring options. I was pleasantly surprised on how quick any of my questions to Alarm Grid were answered. I also ordered a power cable from them and received it before the 5100 arrived.

    Once I received and installed the 5100 I then purchased monitoring through Alarm Grid. Again – they responded quickly and got me on-line in short notice. They went above and beyond the call of duty with one of my requests. Honeywell recently announced the release of a new tilt sensor. I looked around and no other company offered it yet. Not even the vendor that I originally purchased the 5100 through. I contacted Alarm Grid via e-mail. They got right back to me and posted the new sensor up on their site. I ordered it that same day and received it in an extremely short time. I installed the tilt sensor but had another question about notifications. Once again – Alarm Grid quickly responded to my request and set me up. I am very happy with their customer service and I plan to continue buying through them.

    Sterling and the whole Alarm Grid team did an excellent job of helping me install and optimize my alarm system. I was using a different alarm company that wasn’t getting the job done. When I spoke with Sterling and Alarm Grid, they helped me understand the different options I had. They were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Also, their response time was superb– very prompt customer service. Since we have about 14 zones, it took most of the day to install the new system, and Sterling was helpful and patient during the installation process. Now we have a great new alarm system with monitoring, and we love the TotalConnect feature. I highly recommend Alarm Grid to anyone. Whether you’re looking for an alarm company, or just want to talk about your current one, they’re great!

    I just received my Honeywell alarm system in mail but I haven’t had time to set it up yet. So far I have nothing but great things to say about Sterling and Alarm Grid. He was pacient and very helpful. I never had an alarm and this was a weary process for me. I plan on getting it monitored eventually by Alarm Grid.

    Sterling made the programming of our key fob simple and quick. It works great and we will be ordering another. When our contract is up we will definitely consider switching to Alarm Grid for our security monitoring.

    As others have said, Sterling made the seemingly daunting task of installing a home security system as easy as hooking up a Blu Ray to your TV.

    It took around 4 hours to install the whole security system i had, with a total of 5 sensors, most of that time was fishing the power wire for my main control panel as i wanted it from an uninterruptable power source from my attic crawlspace.

    Then it came time to research Alarmnet/Total Connect providers. I somehow stumbled across their facebook page with glowing reviews, so i signed up. Plus it was first month almost free so what did i have to lose. Thursday night, i signed up and emailed my Wifi device information to Alarm Grid, and by Friday morning, i was speaking with Youtube-Sterling and it was setup and monitored.
    Sterling guided me through the entire process, and by noon, i was setup!

    Sterling’s YouTube videos are awesome and made installing your own security system very easy. We were initially quoted an outrageous sum to have an L5100 system (with a meager quantity of sensors) installed in our house, but after looking at AlarmGrid’s videos, it gave us the knowledge and courage to attempt it ourselves for a LOT less.

    Not only was the system easy to install, but Sterling literally walked me through the monitoring setup process. It took about 40 minutes in total (with the system up and running beforehand) to get it completed. He was very prompt and prepared when it came time for our appointment.

    I also want to give credit to Sterling AND Josh for following up on a “missing” package of inexpensive magnets which never showed up in the mailbox. They really care about their customers and I know they will be very successful as their business continues to grow, largely thanks to their awesome videos and great customer service.

    I’m a DIYer with no experience in setting up an alarm. I was able to use Sterling’s online videos to do the basic setup. I then signed up for monitoring with his company. He called back the very next day as requested and completed the setup of my alarm. He reviewed all my settings and tested the system to make sure everything was working. I would recommend Alarm Grid to anyone looking for a monitoring company. They are very knowledgeable and their customer service is great.

    Alarm Grid helped me bring to life a GE Networx system that was installed in my home but not enabled. With their patient help we were able to setup the system and configure a cellular device so I could have them monitor without a phone line. Very professional and easy to work with, and the price for monitoring is excellent. My wife and I love the mobile app that allows us to enable/disable the system remotely and receive alerts in the event of an issue.

    Alarm Grid is the way to go for DIYers! I ordered a system from a certain large online store. About the same time, a friend of mine ordered the same system from Sterling at Alarm Grid. My friend got first-hand installation and monitoring setup, while I struggled a bit with my existing monitoring company – they just didn’t seem to care that all of the TotalConnect features weren’t working properly.

    The WiFi module that I ordered at the other place failed, so based on my friend’s experience I got a refund on that one and ordered a replacement from Alarm Grid. After a couple days, I received a follow-up email from Sterling – just asking how things were going with the module. That night I chatted with their online rep and decided to change monitoring companies. After a few more emails between Sterling and me, we set everything up. He even offered a couple months of free monitoring to help offset the prepaid cost of the other guys. In addition, the “Ask Sterling” online videos and blog are extremely helpful and available to anyone, not just their own customers.

    Needless to say, everything is working great. The TotalConnect service was set up perfectly the first time around. I just got my window stickers and sign and will be happy to put them outside for others to hopefully follow suit.

    I read the “the bad” from above. Every company has to start somewhere. If the service that Alarm Grid gives their customers is any indication, they’re off to a great start.

    These guys are great. Most monitoring companies I contacted gave me the brush off when I asked for online/phone assistance with hardware install as well, saying they couldn’t help me do installs unless I bought equipment from them. Not so with Alarmgrid. Sterling and Josh (and whoever else works there) have been extremely helpful even after I signed up for monitoring with them – literally walking me through an install of a 2nd keypad on my system. No additional benefit for them, but they were happy to help me. I would highly recommend Alarm Grid for monitoring and probably for sales of alarm system equipment as well. They know their stuff!

    I am so impressed by the customer service of Sterling the owner of Alarm Grid. I am a facility manager for a large corporation with currently about 600 people on my site. I have been working for them for 16 years. The way to keep my job is to always provide A+ customer service to them. I also hire many contractors, etc. so I expect A+ service from them. When I was looking for a monitoring company for my home I visited Alarm Grid website. I just purchased a Honeywell Lynx l5100 from a different site before I found Alarm Grid. I since found out that I could have got it cheaper from Alarm Grid. When on the site I was contacted via chat by Sterling the owner. At this point I knew nothing about alarm setup or monitoring. Even though I didn’t purchase from him he had offered to help me setup the system from a-z . I since purchased cellular and zwave modules from them. I decided to go with Alarm Grid monitoring. I sent Sterling an e-mail and next thing my phone was ringing. Because I didn’t understand a few things about the system I have e-mailed him several times and would get immediate phone call from him to help. You could not ask for better service than this. I am happy with his pricing also. I highly recommend Alarm Grid. When it comes to customer service I expect nothing but the best.
